I think adopting a gay persona makes sense. People tend to believe they can spot a gay person. They may spend ages eyeballing people trying to discern, not if they are a card counter per se, but if they are gay as a way of identifying "kewlJ the advantage player." The whole focus becomes "gayness" as a tipoff.

It's funny when you think about it. Stereotypes become a tool in the AP kit. No different than poker players and bigger sports players continually dressing down in Las Vegas. You carry serious cash? You look like a bum. Standard operating procedure. Now that I'm old and ugly (pic in Retro Road Trip thread), I finally dress decently in LV because I'm carrying about a tenth of the cash/tickets I carried in my 30's.
