Redietz has alleged that Bob Dancer has said he doesn't know anything about a 1.5 million dollar video poker jackpot. Redietz somehow thinks that bolsters his argument that Rob Singer got the picture from someone else, i.e., that it was someone else's jackpot.
Here's the problem. maxie said the picture was taken months ago (although he has been discredited). Bob Dancer hasn't heard anything about a 1.5 million dollar video poker jackpot that was supposedly hit "months ago."
Bob Dancer is plugged in with all the top tier video poker professionals....and a lot of elites in other forms of gambling. He certainly knows more professional gamblers than any person ever has.
The largest video poker jackpot of all time would certainly be something to talk about. Even if there was an NDA the word would still surreptitiously get around.
So Dancer didn't hear of this jackpot two years ago, or one year ago, or six months ago, or two months ago? With as many people he is plugged in with, why hasn't he heard about it?
Could it be that he hadn't heard about it because the jackpot was hit just a few days ago? Late May.

I'm not sure whether this is funny or sad, but if you just take a step back you'll see he's manipulating you to respond to him. There is some real psychology going on here. You haven't won anything. You haven't one upped him. You never have. You've given him exactly what he wants. Attention. And you've done it for years. You're co-dependents.

I want to expand on a couple things regarding myself and Singer.
1) On half a dozen occasions, I have posited a list of positive things one could derive from Singer's proposed emphases and old Gaming Today columns. Without going into the entire spiel, the no tipping, don't get hooked on comps, hosts are not your friend were part of it. Part of it was back in the day, anyone playing whacko progressive massive change in level video poker would be interpreted as impulsive and a casino's best friend. So pumping the volume of coin in with the way Singer did it would (at least in the past) have generated better offers than steady state by-the-books optimal play for the same amount.
2) I have debunked gambling claims my entire life. Some of the debunking has been low yield fools' errands; some was not. Whether its sports handicappers claiming 80% winning or systems players with Rube Goldberg stuff or whatever, I have not shown a lot of discernment in the debunking. If I thought it would benefit one person, I debunked it. If I thought, for example, it was a bogus television show and the debunking benefitted a hundred or a thousand, I debunked it. I was also a card-carrying member of the Society for the Scientific Documentation of Paranormal Claims (SSDPE), which lasted maybe two years (CSICOP had more and better people than we did, obviously, if I'm on the evaluator list). So I do this stuff reflexively. Is it usually a waste of time? Yes, 90% or 95% of the time, it is. And occasionally, it's not.
3) I was in Las Vegas for 100 days a year when Singer's column was in Gaming Today. I read all of his columns when I was staying in LV, and that's for years. Some of my friends knew the folks who ran Gaming Today back then. I'm probably best positioned, unless Alan has read the majority of those columns, to comment on Singer. We traveled in the same circles at the same time. I feel an obligation to chime in when things like this come up.
4) Singer claimed people working for me solicited him. He's claimed it many times. It never happened, as nobody has ever had that authorization, and I do not solicit in that way. When I've debunked him, he's gone off the deep end, as he used to do with Arcimede$. He's claimed that my late wife committed suicide. He's said that multiple times in print (she died of cancer). So this is personal.
Having said all that, I think MaxPen pretty much buried him here. I am retiring any interaction. I will be contacting the state attorney general regarding his claims that people working for me solicited him. But that's it for me. I'll still debunk other gambling claims, of course, but Argentino has been pretty transparent that he's what unowme said -- just an off the rails attention seeker. Nobody with any sense buys any of it. He's become self-debunking in a sense.
To me the problem isn't Singer. Unowme pretty much nailed Singer. An attention craving narcissist. That is pretty much settled. If people want to say, I fight back against his claims that defy math and reality too much, putting in too much time and effort....GUILTY!. I just have a real problem with these bullshitters making claims that can't be, either because they defy math or reality. I feel like real players professional or not and even just math guys (experts) have a responsibility to say "no that is not the way it works", that is not reality.
And if these bullshitters make their BS claims a hundred times, then I an going to call them out as BS a hundred times. I am sorry if people get tired of hearing it but that is the way these BSers work. Repetition. Theory is they say their BS enough times and it starts to become accepted.

The problem in my book is mickeycrimm. Mickeycrimm is a highly regarded and respected advantage player. He has been on GWAE multiple times and everyone finds him credible and knows he is the real deal. For him to have joined with Singer in Singers narcissist games is downright nasty. To anyone reading that may not know the situation, Crimm is providing Singer credibility. And that is sickening. I suspect it is all a game to mickey, but I think many of us are alarmed at his behavior, attacks and trolling. It really seems like this guy is suffering some kind of mental decline or illness.
