Great story about a 2000 mile road trip in an electric car. The writer estimates a $100 savings over driving a gas powered vehicle but spent 18 hours charging the vehicle. We've got a long way to go before long distance travel in an electric vehicle can be done in a timely manner:

There is some truth to this and is why Tesla is way ahead of the curve. A Tesla supercharger is going to give you a full charge of 270ish miles in 20-30 minutes. It charges slower as it fills up and not all superchargers have full capacity. (especially when every bay is in use)

The Kia's can't use superchargers so it would be an idiotic car to rent to drive cross country. Being a retard is 100% standard fare to write for foxnews. It is the thing now for "conservatives" to be anti-electric car.

Regardless your opinion of "we've got a long way to go" is demonstrably wrong. TBF I bought a low end EV and it still costs 2x a low end standard car.

I don't even believe my car "helps the environment". I like it because it accelerates faster than my dream car as a child and it has absolutely 0 performance packages etc. It is NOT a sports car. 270 miles of effective range are plenty for me to do what I need. If I drive across country, I use highways like everyone else. These highways are where Tesla has made sure to install the super-chargers.

One of my new projects is to hook up a 240 volt inverter to my solar array so I can get 80-90 miles of range per day without having to rely on petro-industrial complex. Oil centric countries seem to have shitbags rise to the top.

I agree with some of this. 2 party fucks up everything as does the electoral college where these largely irrelevant hick states are seriously over-represented. This dilutes *my* vote because i live in a populous state.

We need multiple parties and let them work together.

Owned property != skin in the game. I have to disagree with that. You don't even truly OWN property where I live. You basically lease it out from the government via property taxes which you purchase the right to do.

There are many ways we all have skin in the game. Paying taxes is far more of having skin in the game than owning some piece of land somewhere.
I grew up in a hick state. Raised by a single mom, first to attend college. Reading your condescending post makes me laugh. I met plenty of betas like you who were semi smart in baker house. It was fun having these douchebags girlfriends suck my dick. I made sure to go after all the douchebag rich kids girls. School was easy they couldn’t complete there either. My first "conquest" in my college freshman year was a co-ed who had been dating a guy I casually knew.

    Her pillow talk was revelatory.

She said she really liked him; he was rich and drove a really sharp Jaguar XKE, but she said he had a tiny cock and she needed to be "shagged right and proper on occasion."

I was, of course, "up" for the occasion.

    Wicked world.

Obviously the only place that ever happened was in your beta dreams, soyboy.

I'm not sure how I feel about all this "beta" talk. I didn't know it was a thing. I was the second best distance runner on my high school cross-country and track teams, and I was the second best on my college cross-country team. That sounds like I imprinted as a beta early in life.

It must be great to always be the best at stuff. Except scout in Vietnam. You can only be lead scout so many times. My brother-in-law was a scout in Vietnam. Sometimes beta is better.

I think any male cross country participant is beta, placing doesn’t matter. But Maxpen says I’m confused so who knows.

Summer of '73; working construction in Atlanta; met a guy recently back from 'Nam in my apt. complex, I heard he had weed for sale.

I sold weed to cover the cost of my personal use so I looked him up; extremely paranoid, fucked up guy who answered the door with a .357 in his hand.

Bought a pound off him; it was NOT the same stuff he let me try; instead it simply did not get me high, i.e. a male plant.

I went to complain to him and got only a death stare: uh-oh.

The guy was fried, beyond Zebra, and 'Nam obviously caused it: he was a LRRP, i.e. long range reconnaissance patrol member who'd be out in the bush sneaking around with minimal support for extended periods of time; yeah, that'll fuck a guy up.

Not being one to narc, I wound up selling it at school to the blacks, who just couldn't get enough of it.

Two of my buddies served in 'Nam, both have "issues," both physical and mental, and both get full VA disability for it.

War IS hell; how can we sheltered spawn of the suburbs possibly remain unaffected by its myriad horrors?

I knew four guys pretty well who went to Vietnam. My friend Sammy, with his 140 IQ, came back legally a drug addict, legally an alcoholic, and legally defined as insane. My brother-in-law did the long-range recon thing -- he learned the tech, which gave him a head start when he came back and started up his PI business. They always sent two out, separated in space, on those long range recons. Me -- I would have dug a hole and stayed in it until it was time to report back. Then I would have made shit up. My late wife's uncle went -- he refused to say Word One about anything that happened. Then my other friend was discharged for running over civilians with a jeep, evidently on purpose.

Your weirdness is beyond redietz, kewl, and garnabby combined. I've never known someone who most would consider alpha talk so much using this terminology. Lol. Ranking everyone as alpha/beta. lol. who does that?? I've also never known anyone with a big dick talk about it so much. (I have 10 3/8 inches for example but I don't think I've ever mentioned it.) But sure buddy whatever you say

BUT ONE THING FOR CERTAIN IS DUMBASSES LIKE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE MORE VOTING POWER THAN ME.

Being a retard is not knowing the journalist, Rachel Wolfe, works for the Wall Street Journal, not Fox News. n

And being a retard is thinking conservatives are anti-electric cars. Conservatives know that electric cars are the future. The problem is retarded dems are pushing everyone to buy electric cars when the infrastucture necessary to support them is not even close to being ready.

And your pointing out the Kia is not the way to go for long distance travel means the general public is not yet educated enough to make correct decisions when buying the EV's.

Fox News is my default news channel because it is retarded to watch anything else. At least they will ask tough questions. All the NBC/ABC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN cabal does is cover for democrats. They won't ask tough questions. Except they ask tough questions of conservatives.

Have you seen the latest Kamala Harris interview on NBC? She's the border czar. The border is a mess. They didn't ask her one question about the border. Instead of being objective journalists the main stream media has the democrat's backs.

Nope! No W2G, No Bank statement, No win loss statement, No picture of the check he received from the casino, No receipt for the check deposited, No receipt for the cash deposited, No receipt for withdrawal prior to casino trip, No Currency Transaction report, No picture of REAL cash, No large prop check for photo op, Nothing at all, just made up stories and a picture of some dude in a yellow shirt playing a home video poker machine in his living room.

No wonder some court transcripts can be thousands of pages long. We have a simple issue, “Did Rob Singer hit a $1.5 million jackpot on video poker?” We are 113 pages deep. If he had irrefutable proof like most in his situation, it shouldn’t go past one page after the initial claim was made.

Just because she has a position for WSJ doesn't mean she isn't an intellectual whore. IIRC WSJ has a lot of paid-placement crap.

It is a very conservative thing to do - be anti-EV. This is why she chose a car destined to fail. Look at how twisted your takeaway is? I mean you're right that the lower-end consumer friendly cars are not very good for long distances. But that wasn't your take-away. Your take-away was that EVs just aren't there yet. (Which is kinda true.. kinda isn't....) But this woman would have clearly known what she was doing. This stuff is all out there. Stuff you'd read if you were to actually BUY the car and not whore yourself out with BS setting something up to fail.

I'm not going to argue about Fox News. Their headlines still pop-up in my news feed but probably because people click on only hte most clickbaitesy shit. Regardless, I'll go there if someone links to it directly but I never peruse it. It annoys me like any crazy partisan rag, whether left or right.

To a lot of us the border isn't so much an issue. I'm not sure I'd even have an expectation of these questions. IMO this was just something Trump came up with to motivate people to vote for him. Although it is definitely a problem of sorts and will probably continually get worse if nothing is done. I'm rather ambivalent about the whole issue. Not open borders but not this whole super tough lets bring in the National Guard patriotic rally around the flag bullshit.

Irrefutable proof is not required to contain a thread.

Posts from Pussy-tive Variance drag it out...and continue to keep it alive.

Do you have any self-awareness, or are you just a blabber-mouthed dork?
