Dude, you are hopeless. You were a nice guy when I met you in person. But I'm afraid I'm going to have to put you on ignore here. I don't have time to read martian bullshit.Just because she has a position for WSJ doesn't mean she isn't an intellectual whore. IIRC WSJ has a lot of paid-placement crap.Being a retard is not knowing the journalist, Rachel Wolfe, works for the Wall Street Journal, not Fox News. n
There is some truth to this and is why Tesla is way ahead of the curve. A Tesla supercharger is going to give you a full charge of 270ish miles in 20-30 minutes. It charges slower as it fills up and not all superchargers have full capacity. (especially when every bay is in use)
The Kia's can't use superchargers so it would be an idiotic car to rent to drive cross country. Being a retard is 100% standard fare to write for foxnews. It is the thing now for "conservatives" to be anti-electric car.
Regardless your opinion of "we've got a long way to go" is demonstrably wrong. TBF I bought a low end EV and it still costs 2x a low end standard car.
I don't even believe my car "helps the environment". I like it because it accelerates faster than my dream car as a child and it has absolutely 0 performance packages etc. It is NOT a sports car. 270 miles of effective range are plenty for me to do what I need. If I drive across country, I use highways like everyone else. These highways are where Tesla has made sure to install the super-chargers.
One of my new projects is to hook up a 240 volt inverter to my solar array so I can get 80-90 miles of range per day without having to rely on petro-industrial complex. Oil centric countries seem to have shitbags rise to the top.
And being a retard is thinking conservatives are anti-electric cars. Conservatives know that electric cars are the future. The problem is retarded dems are pushing everyone to buy electric cars when the infrastucture necessary to support them is not even close to being ready.
And your pointing out the Kia is not the way to go for long distance travel means the general public is not yet educated enough to make correct decisions when buying the EV's.
Fox News is my default news channel because it is retarded to watch anything else. At least they will ask tough questions. All the NBC/ABC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN cabal does is cover for democrats. They won't ask tough questions. Except they ask tough questions of conservatives.
Have you seen the latest Kamala Harris interview on NBC? She's the border czar. The border is a mess. They didn't ask her one question about the border. Instead of being objective journalists the main stream media has the democrat's backs.
It is a very conservative thing to do - be anti-EV. This is why she chose a car destined to fail. Look at how twisted your takeaway is? I mean you're right that the lower-end consumer friendly cars are not very good for long distances. But that wasn't your take-away. Your take-away was that EVs just aren't there yet. (Which is kinda true.. kinda isn't....) But this woman would have clearly known what she was doing. This stuff is all out there. Stuff you'd read if you were to actually BUY the car and not whore yourself out with BS setting something up to fail.
I'm not going to argue about Fox News. Their headlines still pop-up in my news feed but probably because people click on only hte most clickbaitesy shit. Regardless, I'll go there if someone links to it directly but I never peruse it. It annoys me like any crazy partisan rag, whether left or right.
To a lot of us the border isn't so much an issue. I'm not sure I'd even have an expectation of these questions. IMO this was just something Trump came up with to motivate people to vote for him. Although it is definitely a problem of sorts and will probably continually get worse if nothing is done. I'm rather ambivalent about the whole issue. Not open borders but not this whole super tough lets bring in the National Guard patriotic rally around the flag bullshit.
