I had just gotten into town one weekend and was having trouble finding a reasonable room. I walked by the Aztec and thought, what the hell, I'll try there. At the desk, management said yeah, they had a room, and price was right (I looked a little rugged in my youth, I guess). I said I needed to see it first, so they took me to see it. There's people strewn about on the ground in front of the rooms, and the guy shows me my room. A dude is passed out in the doorway, and there is no door. It's off the hinges laying to the side. I said, "Hey, I don't require much, but I really do need a door."
So I never stayed at the Aztec. Cool place, though.
