[QUOTE=Seedvalue;150880][QUOTE=accountinquestion;150859]Yea, Wal-Mart was great how it displaced all those small businesses with shit low-wage jobs selling only shit items and now they don't even want to pay for cashiers to check people out.
Google has monopolized advertising and now that they have that they can be complicit with fraud all day long because there is absolutely nothing to stop them. They literally want you to prove the fraud with information that can't be created because they are in the position to choose what they show you.
I'm 110% positive I understand who Seedvalue is as a person far better than he'll ever be able to understand who I am.
But we ALL know - he is a real asset to humanity.
Russia has its kleptocracy with the oligarchs and taking over state run businesses.
China has it with the CCP.
We have it by being controlled by corporations.
It is all the same thing - some group that accumulates too much power and maintains it. Corporations are a bit more fluid though and TBH it isn't just corporations - it is the undue influence upper-class people wield with what capital buys. Pharmaceutical companies play games with the health of people. I could go through a long list off the top of my head.
People seem to think large corporations create jobs that wouldn't exist otherwise. I tend to think otherwise. It is more of a zero-sum game than that.
Anyone trying to push a law that helps the consumer is typically lobbied down by immense sums of money.
Seedvalue is a goofball. Without Singer and Alan gone he has clearly become #1 goofball.
