After listening to the America's Untold Stories' Baldwin drop (quite solid episode IMHO), Shapiro's acting doesn't surprise me at all - Hunley and gang really dissected this guy. I would like to thank you for the Crowder links above and the Jordan Peterson links in the climate thread.

I'm about 25% of the way through.
They were just getting into the Crowder/Daily Wire topic when I had to pause for the day.
I dunno how I feel about it.
I know that Shapiro has built an empire with his pals and that they are all about money through the form of news entertainment.
Not much difference with Crowder IMO.
I just have to side with Shapiro about taping phone conversations and uploading them to youtube to use as some sort of a wepon.

How can anyone ever trust a guy like that again?
I certainly wouldn't want to talk to him on the phone, through messages or in person as I would fear he is constantly wired and taping me.
Seems odd that he would turn down 50 Million Dollars and sort of ruin his reputation by uploading recorded phone messages and also editing them to fit his narrative.
How are you going to do that to your pal and or business partner???

I agree with you and Hunley (and disagree with Barnes) - my reference to Shapiro's acting was in response to your great take on Shapiro breaking for commercials like an emotionless robot after almost starting to cry just before (I haven't watched that Shapiro podcast yet). But what's true at the same time is that Shapiro is most definitely a deep state asset (controlled opposition). Hunley really shed light on the real Candace Owens ("Social Autopsy" at 1:20:00 in the AUS Baldwin podcast). I had no idea she was originally trying to dox people she defined as trolls and get them in trouble, and when that failed she went into the business of conservative journalism.
