What the moron also doesn't understand, is that banks don't post standard business ACHs during various times during the day. There is a cutoff for when they may be received, but all banks operate the same, posting the next business day, sometime in the morning. And that "next business morning" is never on a Saturday.

This is just more of how an imbecile might "study up" on something and get it wrong, because he has no personal experience with any of this. He made up the nonsense about the ACH, not realizing that it contradicts how all of this works.

Again, I have probably received more incoming ACH deposits in the past months than most do in a lifetime. They all post at the same time, early the morning after received.

ONE TIME one of my banks had some kind of issue with reporting the ACH to the account, but it didn't mean that the ACH wasn't received. And the delay was in the range of a couple hours, still posting in the morning.

I mean, we're not talking about Zelle, we are talking about a standard business ACH. His fictional settlement ACH would have had to be sent on Wednesday or Thursday, and then it would have posted to his account Friday morning. By the time he got caught in the lie about how he hadn't even seen it by midnight Friday night, and he was already into Saturday, the gig was up.

When I am expecting a standard business ACH, which is pretty much every day lately, I look for it in the morning. If it's not there in the morning it is not going to land that day at all. And I don't look for ACHs on Saturdays or Sundays, I mean obviously.

My experience with Internet and Technology Addicts Anonymous

I'm 32 now and I've been an internet and computer addict my whole life. Been trying to limit my use since I was 20 but failed a lot of times.

Previously I only talked about my compulsive internet use only with a few psychologist over the years. None of them were particularly helpful for my internet addiction.

I joined one of the internet addict anonymous online meetings out of desperation, not really expecting much out of it. I thought it had something to do with religion (I'm an atheist). It had nothing to do with religion in practice. God is only a concept, a higher power as YOU understand it.

It was probably my best decision of this year. I could find people going through similar problems than mine and the meeting was structured in a way to deal with the deeper emotional problems that are the cause of the addiction. It was way more helpful than reading. lots of valuable information but it's still a solo activity in the end.

Doing video calls with other people is very different activity than reading, or even following blogs about internet addiction to then jump to another website to keep reading.

My advice, try a few of their online meetings and see if they are helpful for you. They are free. I would have loved to do this 10 years ago. You can just join (there are many videocalls per day) with your camera off and only listen at first. try 2 or 3 meetings and you'll see if its benefitial for you or not.

Here is one of the standard business ACHs that landed in one of my bank accounts today.



The way it works, with all banks, is that it lands in the morning, and even though it shows PENDING the funds are immediately available. ACHs are not like checks where the bank has to "post" them they credit immediately upon receipt even though they show as PENDING. I could go to the bank now and every penny of that "pending" ACH is available to me.

Again, a standard business ACH will not appear, will not show, in your account after midnight, and definitely not on a Saturday no less. It's impossible. And not the way it works anyway.

UNKewlJ simply made up all of this, as usual, based on how he THOUGHT things should be, and failed, once again, miserably. He thought, well fuck, I think social security payments arrive around midnight so I'll just make sure to claim that my ACH arrived around midnight too. Of course, he didn't realize that that midnight was going to put him into a Saturday, which made it an impossibility even for a government SS payment.

The deposit or transfer could have gone through many hours earlier. I don't know or care. It showed up just after midnight. It was not there sometime around 9pm when I looked aat my account and was there or posted just after midnight. So just shut the fuck up you freaking retard.

BUT, I happen to know from my partners social security that any time the third fell on a Monday his check or funds hit our account early Saturday morning. Isn't social security ACH transfer? So you just don't know everything you think you know.

Idiot Mdawg. You are right about something. I don't receive many, ACH payments. Didn't even know the term before this discussion. Don't claim to be an expert. I had a payment transferred from an account in my name that my attorney set up to hold and disperse settlement funds in which my portion was transferred to my personal account. Is that an ACH transfer? I guess. In reading about it after you brought it up, I guess that is what it is.

So I was informed by my attorney's office on a Friday morning that the funds would be transferred that day. I checked my account several times throughout the day, the last being at 9pm and the funds were not showing. Just after midnight they were showing. I have no idea when they were actually transferred or how posting works. They were not showing at 9pm and were showing after midnight. So fuck off.

BUT, in making your comments, you trying to prove you know everything about everything, you were 100% shit wrong about social security. I know because of my partners social security for more than a decade, which came into a joint account. This was social security disability, not SSI. I have a vague understanding what SSI is, I believe a program that isn't really social security that is administered by the social security program. Those people get their checks of funds on the first of the month or a day or two earlier if the 1st falls on a wekend or holiday.

My partner was on social security disability. he received his benefits on the 3rd of the month. Anybody on social security, whether disability or regular retirement that has been on since before late 1990's received their benefits on the 3rd of the month. Sometime in the 1990 payment dates were changed from the 3rd of the month to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th wednesday. But anybody on the program since before 1990's it was the 3rd of the month.

So my partner received his benefit payment on the 3rd. If the 3rd fell on a Saturday or Sunday, he received it on early Friday. If the 3rd fell on a Monday, the money hit our account early Saturday morning. I always wondered about this last one because Monday being a regular business day, there seemed no logical reason for payments to come early, but they always did. 10 years that we shared an account, if the 3rd was a Monday money would be in account Saturday morning. Maybe the reason was because SS security payments go out just after midnight, a payment going out on a Monday would need someone working Sunday night to oversee it and that wasn't a regular SS working schedule. I have no idea, I am just guessing. But if the 3rd fell on a Monday, payment was in account Saturday morning. End of fucking story!

So just fuck off. It is just another case of you talking but not knowing what you are talking about.
