LOL. I could have filed for SS when I turned 62 but didn't file until I was 66 years 6 months. Was planning to go to 70 but had a heart attack an didn't know if I would be able to function again. That's not someone clamoring to get on the government dole.
But please please please educate yourself about what SS is before you go spouting off ignorant blather about it. It's a retirement system not a government handout. One pays into SS for 40 years or more and really don't get much of a check for it. The money would have been better invested in a 401K.
