Thread: "Returning," free Casino gifts?

  1. #1
I was a Treasured Player at a Casino and the Casino was giving away Jack Daniels gift set to Treasured Players. The Jack Daniels gift set was worth about $22 at a certain store that does returns without a receipt. I went to that store and said something like," Hi, I'd like to return this Jack Daniels gift set." I was asked if I had a receipt, and I replied that I didn't. They told me,"Without a receipt, we can only give a store credit." I took the store credit and bought a bunch of items for free. I then "returned," some items at a completely different store that does returns without a receipt and was able to buy stuff from that store as well.

On another day, the Casino was giving away a gift set like a Jim Beam set. I "returned," the Jim Beam set at a different Location of the same store, because it might just look REALLY sketchy for one person to "return" items to the same location. I was able to buy more items for free and then "return," the items again at another store that does returns without a receipt.

You scammed that poor front line employee with a lie, returned an item you didn’t buy there. How would you like it if someone scammed YOU at Walmart.

This is a total bullshit story , like total bullshit, first off what stores take back liquor. Second off you did all that running around for 22 in gifts,
Since you are in Florida. Prove one store that carries the jack Daniel's liquor set in Florida and on top of that someone that accepts returns on liquor without receipt.

And this is the reason why stores like Bed Bath and Beyond went under and stores are super super strict about returns now. You can return to Target for example without a receipt, but they scan your ID, and you can't do it more than a certain number of times.

If you are going to do anything with the items you should just sell them on your own.

It was only a roughly $42 scheme, not even $50
It's not like I screwed a Casino out of millions of dollars.

I wasn't aware that stealing is ok if it is "only $42".

Not really stealing if you are exchanging one item you received as a gift for other items of the same value.

Fraud maybe, or obtaining goods under false pretenses possibly, but not stealing.

I didn't STEAL anything. What I did was a morally and ethically gray area, but it wasn't theft. Theft would be if I STOLE the gift sets and then returned them for store credit.

Good luck explaining that to St. Peter at the pearly gates.

What if you dressed up really nice, put on fancy makeup, and stole a man’s heart?

Would that be considered a crime?

That was a good start Karen, but now you need to figure out how to leverage it into a really big score.

I suggest you shoplift some expensive items from where you work (Walgreens) having first verified that Target or another store sells them also, then return the purloined loot to Target or the other store to exchange for cash.

Then use your cash to fund your Bingo jones.

    Ka-ching...

Best of all, you can do it over and over since you'll know how to avoid detection since you'll be stealing from your employer.

Hey, thousands of gamblers steal and embezzle to fund their gambling addiction, why shouldn't you?

I mean, your life is HARD, ya know?

Instead of thanking me later, venmo me half the profit...it'll be "Good Karma."

It absolutely is stealing if you return a $10 item for cash or credit that you never paid them for. Because their wholesale cost/value might be around $5, but they gave you back the $10 retail cost. So you stole $5 from them, plus they're out all the labor to deal with return/restocking/reselling. There's no grey area, it's theft.

If you get store credit only then it depends on the margins of all the items returned and exchanged but they're still out the labor costs no matter what.

This is funny. The retard spins a fabricated tale for forum attention; then the forum's biggest liar--who's been caught over and over again concocting phony & fraudulent relevance and attention-seeking, poorly thought-out stories--criticizes her.

I'd like to see one of the few things I don't know about kew--his IQ. Probably not much better that tasha's.

Rob, you're not the one to be guessing the IQ of others.

Wouldn't surprise me if she actually perpetrates this little scam for real, but I'll agree she posts it here only to get a rise out of the forum. Of course she already knows it's messed up. Tasha may be the GOAT troll.
