One other thing I will say and then I see no point in continuing in this discussion.

I don't know Hunter Hill. I am trying to think of who he might be, if he met me in my 5+ years AC days. And what does "met me" even mean? Did he come up stick out his hand and say "Hi, I am Hunter Hill". Did I introduce myself? Or was he an acquaintance of an acquaintance.

I have tried to keep a low profile through 20+ years of my AP career and play. I have met a few people along the way, although usually not by name (no introduction). Know them more by face.

And I assume in my time as an AP, especially my 15 years in Vegas, there are other APs that have run into me or see me at casinos. So happens the 2 that said so on this forum, are wrong. they describe someone completely different than what I look like. And Axelwolf has since backed off saying he may have been mistaken. One of the places and times he thought he saw someone that he though was me, the place and time just don't work. It was Aliante Casino. It was either before I moved to Vegas or just after I moved, but wasn't yet driving and hadn't made my way up to Alainte. And my partner didn't move to Vegas when I did, he followed a year and a half later, so he wasn't here. I don't want to fight with Axelwolf about this, but he is wrong. I assume an honest mistake.

Now did he see me or my partner later, at either Club Fortune or East Cannery as he thinks? Maybe. But if he is still describing me as an Asian kid, then he is still wrong.

So I don't know who may have seen me or "met" me in 20 years. While I can't place Hunter Hill, maybe he did. I don't think that vindicated anything though. I would hope what vindicates me is people, real players and APs knowing that I know what I speak of and am not just talking. BUT on this forum, that just doesn't matter all that much, so I have given up hope of that.

I also seek no vindication. What anyone wants to believe about me matters to me as much as what they believe about the easter bunny or moon landing. I think I have demonstrated enough that most real AP know. they may play games, but they know who and what I am.

I'm sure, if I wanted to construct some fanciful details about working for Billy Walters or living 100 days a year in LV for 20-some years, I could fire away and then backtrack in the unlikely event somebody discovered contradictions, by reporting that it was in my best interest to "misdirect." The whole concept of covering lying with the word "misdirection" is ridiculous. The writer loses all credibility.

I mean, the whole debate is ludicrous. MrV, go ahead and ream the Dog, but ream the dude who "misdirects," too. I think "misdirecting" in a court of law is a felony. Why should anyone bother to read posts by somebody who "misdirects" when it suits him? What is the fucking point?

I don't know him by that "handle" obviously. Maybe if he walked up and said "Hi I am Hunter Hill" I would recognize the face and say oh yeah, I remember you from some previous place and time.

But there is an interesting tidbit here. This is not the first time, he said he knows me or met me. So I am thinking we did cross paths or informally met or something along those lines. Like I said, there have been a few I remember and certainly more that I don't remember in my 20 years.

I guess I will also get into the substance of what Hunter Hill said, since it was 16-17 years ago and can't hurt me by association now.

I was involved with a team in Atlantic City for a short period in my 4th year of play. It wasn't exclusively hole-carding, it was mostly card counting but involved several different things of which hole-carding was one. That is where I learned of hole-carding and eventually decided I didn't care much for it. I rather quickly decided that association with other known APs was the quick path to a short career, and went back to solo play after only a couple months. And when I moved to Vegas I did so to be a solo type player although I had several offers of team play.

I actually have spoken about this period, not in terms of saying "I did this", but rather mentioning that there were teams recruiting players as throw-way players. When the players got busted the team just recruited more throw away players. That is why I got out.

BUT, there was a benefit for me wrapped up in that risk. I was able to make better money, more profit that I could as a solo low limit card counter and it enabled me to grow my bankroll to the point I could start betting a little bigger and that is when I took off.

I spoke of this too at times. But instead of saying in my 4th year I joined with other APs which allowed my bankroll to grown, I just glossed it over saying I hit some positive variance that 4th year.

Red and others can call that "misdirecting" (it was) or even lying if you want, but like I have said many times, for those of us that share some experiences, there are times we have to change details and such to protect ourselves and identities. People that don't understand this really just don't understand what advantage play is or entails.
