GED is another lie. And it didn't go over my head. I know exactly what he was talking about. BUT as Red tends to do now, he is mis-remembering or dementia or brain worm or something has gotten into him.

There was no HOT AP TIPS. There was a list of locations of a particular machine placements from the manufacturer. Public info. Turns out that list may not have been complete or updated as there were probably more than on that list, but it was a starting point instead of checking every casino in the country. From the moment my brother showed me that play, it was always going to be a race against time. That list allowed up to hit a good chunk of the games out there in as little time as possible, making as much as we did, before the curtain came down.

But Red saying 'Hot AP tips", just wreaks of his anti-AP bias. I wanted to try to drag a little more of that bias out of him.

I dont know who would share what with JK, but think again if you dont think hosts will share stuff they shouldn't. They love people who give them tons of action(especially on slots) and they love getting their palms greased. I have had situations many times over the years where hosts have shared information about other players.

For example, they used to run contests that could last a day - a month long. Whoever accumulated the most amount of points won the prize money. Points were to be kept hidden(not posted) so, aside from scouting around looking and guessing how many points people might have there was no way of knowing.
It was a huge advantage knowing who the leaders were and how many points they had. Now you didn't have to give up EV overshooting and you knew how far you were behind or in the lead... Keep going or stop.

I had on numerous occasions where the hosts would tell me the players' names and how many points they had.

There have been many other situations where hosts have given people information about other players. Also, hosts share information about players with other hosts.

Management will share information about players with independent hosts.

Heck. you can even get a booth girl to give information about other players.

I am going to say most AP's that live play Vegas have some connections on the other side. I am not super connected but my one good friend is. And I benefit from that. In this particular case, it was stupid internet shit that I wished I had never even asked for. But the database alerts are invaluable to me. Got one earlier this month. I knew there was a bit of a problem on my last day of play out of town. Before my plane even landed the next day, I had been informed that yes, there was a problem, but as far as problems go, it was not that devastating. Just knowing to back off a bit when you are hot.....huge in terms of longevity for a card counter.

there have been a couple other times I have gotten a valuable "alert", not involving database, but advising not to play a certain chain at all for a bit as they had been hit by a CCing/HCing team and all casinos in that chain were on edge and on the lookout. That is valuable shit for a player like me.

That Belly and smurger can't seem to grasp that these kind of connections exist,, well belly I am not surprised. The guy lives in the swamps of jersey. Smurgerburger, I though knew Vegas and the industry better than twhat he is saying. Maybe he is just playing.
