Personally I loved the tales of Ace of Spades years ago, another lawyer who played Vegas as a high roller. The guy was as honest as you can get as far as we knew and admitted when he lost big. BUT I also clearly remember you and other members giving him so much shit because of him just using a simple high/low count. It was his money and his adventures but he got so sick of the hassles he just left and the forum was a lessor place because of it.

But to say the adventures of a high roller who posts his stories would be welcome isn’t believable based on Ace’s experiences. Maybe welcome, but would still have to deal with the negativity, it’s just the nature of these places.

And I will say Dark Oz has chased a lot more people from the site than MDawg ever did.

I liked AoS and his posts. It was higher roller stuff that was real. He didn't claim to win all the time. He won and lost, just as real gambling works (even when playing at an advantage).

I only gave him shit because he was using a very week count. Was it speed count? Or A-5? can't remember. But it was something that maybe got you a break even game. Maybe that is all he wanted I don't know. Just seems to me that if you are going to go to the trouble to count, you should flip the house advantage all the way to the player, not half way to break even. But again, maybe he was happy with that and maybe I was too hard on him.

I knew 2 other players that were very satisfied with flipping house edge to a break even or only slightly +EV game. And one made a living doing so for many years. I have told the stories of both before. Probably no interest so I won't do so again right now.

BTW, I always thought Mdawg could have gone that route, sharing his higher end play winning and losing and the comps and treatment he received. That would have been damned interesting to most people. But he couldn't do that. he had to instead have all this fantasy winning and "Pope of Las Vegas" bullshit.

I met him a few times and he's a pretty cool guy. I think we all played poolside tub craps at the Golden Nugget. He's actually a real attorney who wears real Rolexes.

For some reason, he thought it was harder to lose multiple hands in a row at multiple tables than it was to lose multiple hands at one table.

He caught a lot of flack for claiming losing 30 in a row, including myself. It's not winning or losing that people are skeptical about, many of us are skeptical about mathematical abnormalities.

One of about a thousand very common ploppy beliefs. You see players jumping all around thinking and talking about hot and cold tables and dealers.

BUT, you can incorporate that into your card counting AP act and I have done so about a million times. the count goes negative and you want to jump to the next table, (whether you have tracked that table and know the count or not), all you have to do is mutter something about a cold table or cold dealer.

There are times I will say to a dealer "You are too hot for me" even though I have won 3 of the last 4 hands. As long as you lost the very last hand it works. All I want is an excuse for jumping from a negative count table. You don't really NEED an excuse, but I like to plant that seed.

These people are nothing but trolls. Aligning himself with and quoting such known trolls adds nothing to his cause. It actually subtracts. And neither I nor anyone else gives a flying fuck what such people say or think.

Now he does quote other people that I have a little respect for. Some AP's that I know, know who and what I am, a card counter, but troll me for whatever their reasons are. I only care mildly what a handful of people think or say about me and I know what most really believe about me, even if they say something at times probably part of a different discussion, that ends up being taken out of context by the SandNig.

I'm not sure how long had gone by perhaps a few years, eventually I said fuck it and attempted to get a player's card. Not really to my surprise, they issued me one I've been playing there ever since on and off for years, and hit jackpots. I recently bet tens of thousands of dollars on sports there.

I've been back to places where I was falsely arrested/jailed, attorneys were involved, and agreements were signed and yet I went back anyways and played hit jackpots never had an issue.

I never went back to the Stardust because that was pretty serious. I'm confident if I went back to the Stardust and played, I would have been arrested. I'm sure there's been some out-of-state casinos that I never went back to as well, but there have been very few out of state casinos I have been 86ed from.

Casinos don't have to know your name to know you. They can know you by face. But you don't want to make it easier for them by playing rated. especially table games.

Axel, ever had a phone call telling you not to come back or could play certain games? I received a call form Club Fuck (henderson), where the general manager told me no more blackjack, which is a backoff, not an 86. The phone call surprised me a bit, but I guess being a small place and all.

Also have had a security dude at LongHorn chase me into the parking lot and right off property. Maybe that is a right of passage, I don't know. (Not really). Card counters like to say a backoff from El Cortez is a right of passage. I never bought that either.

I haven't had many trespass or 86, but I have had many "no more blackjack" and almost always return to play blackjack. Now we have the new 2 year trespass law that I will be putting to the test next year.
