I have had some success correlating a wide spread weather pattern among different teams in different cities this year. Late sept or Oct there was a huge bad weather situation along the whole east coast over a weekend. I think it was what remained of a hurricane that hit Florida. I think I played under a couple college games and 3 NFL games based specifically on that weather and hit 4 or 5 (even though the lines had come down).
But the biggest was MLB and that month long heat wave across the entire eastern and middle of the country (Not so much west of the Rockies). Ball travels further in hot weather. We have all seen those commercials. Well for that entire month it seems like every day 10, 11 sometimes 12 games were going over. And they didn't really adjust the totals that much until the very end of that month long spell. I remember several what looked like pitcher duel type match ups with run totals of 6.5, that were 9-6 and score like that.
I should go back and look (if I can) because I would bet the month to 5 week period is a significant part of my year's total win.
But I am sure Redietz has been doing this for years. He is probably a certified meteorologist. Either him or his cousins, husband's siter is. Or he has lunch with one regularly.![]()
