Well, what she did was getting booted for cause. What could she really say other than I'm sorry?

If I were advising her I would have advised a letter to the effect of "This is not a formal appeal, rather I am merely asking for leniency based on that I have been a lifelong customer and always obeyed the rules."

But, did she obey the rules? or is this the casino where she was re-using Bingo cards? And asking strangers to let her insert her player card? And now was sticking her player card into machines while players were not looking? Were all these offenses at the same casino, or different ones?

If there are multiple offenses on record, I'd view this as progressive punishment where the next step would be a lifetime ban. If she's committed other offenses at the same casino a one year ban isn't bad at all.

I'd have to know the complete history at this casino in order to even advise intelligently.

It all goes to prove that even in seemingly simple matters there is often no simple answer, and just listening to a client's woes takes up a lot of time. I am very good at appearing sympathetic and analyzing quickly and efficiently but it still takes up time.

The "Backroomed and best up Casino Staff Members for sticking my Player's Club cards into unsuspecting Player's slot machines was a MOCKING PARODY of Kewlj's "Backroom lawsuit injury," thing. It didn't ACTUALLY happen to me. The Casino that gave me a temporary 24 hour ban after I accidentally asked the SAME person TWICE to play on my Player's Club and he reported me the second time was a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT casino than the one I got a one year ban from for reusing old Bingo cards that already previously lost.

My Casino thinking has definitely changed from say around 8 years ago. In say around 2017, two different guys were chasing a gift giveaway game and ONLY needed three points to qualify. They had already lost their money chasing the giveaway, so the first guy asked a Woman who wasn't playing with a Player's Club card if she could play on his Player's Club card to earn him the three points. She turned around to answer him and they both realized they were actually acquaintances. They chatted for a while and he said something like,""Okay, I'll try someone else then," and he left. Literally about TWO minutes later, a completely different guy asked her to play on his Player's Club card to earn him the three points.

This time, she responded something like,"You are the SECOND person to ask me to play on a Player's Club card in order to earn you three points. At first I was AMUSED, but now I'm getting REALLY annoyed. I am about to start reporting this to Casino Staff Members!" He got the hint and left. I said something like,"That did seem a bit out of hand, two different people askiyoi within MINUTES to play on their Player's Club card to earn them three points after they lost their money chasing the giveaway. She responded something like,"I know right, that's none of my business that they lost their money chasing the giveaway and still didn't earn enough to qualify for the giveaway."
