For once I agree with the retard. Your regular Joe will be stunned at the answers to questions like
"What's it like to win a fake 1.5M UX jackpot in somebody else's basement (since your trailer doesn't have a basement)"
"Do you feel bad when you waste an RV dealer's time by pretending you have enough money to buy one just so you can sit in it and take pictures to convince randos that you're not a broke POS?"
I thought the PM exchange was civil and made sense. You wanted me to provide bio data and a timeline. I said, as someone who has done dozens of interviews for newspapers, it's pretty weird to have someone anonymous interview a person with a name, but okay. Here's what you should read.
Instead, I get this from Axelwolf? LOL. I will post the PM exchange. I have no problem doing the interview. At all. But it's very, very strange for an interviewer to basically declare that (1) it's an adversarial interview, (2) he wants to stay anonymous, (3) I'm supposed to wing it without seeing any adversarial questions in advance, and (4) I don't provide any of the topics. I mean -- LOL -- I've done interviews on both sides, and I can't say anyone has ever agreed to such negative, insulting terms.
Can you imagine me, as an interviewer, saying to the person being interviewed "SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT!"
LOL. This is hilarious. I did say that Mission was a very good interviewer from what I have read. And I told Axelwolf he needed to read some stuff, which I was ready to send to him when he provided an email.
Only an idiot would agree to have Axelwolf conduct this interview under those conditions. But wait....
Of course I'll do it. It breaks every rule of journalism and puts me in a no-win situation. Like Captain Kirk.
But first I'll post the PM exchange between me and Axelwolf. How do I do that? And second, if he's not going to have me address him by his real name, then I need a "handle" for the interview. Why don't you guys vote on (1) The Great Swami, (2) Nostradamus, or (3) Fuckhead Dietz (not sure if FCC rules apply to podcasting).
So how do I post the PM exchange. Axelwolf seems peeved at me. What? He thought his conducting the interview would be a
Nope. LOL. I thought he'd be a little bit professional and un-insulting, you know, like Mission. But Axelwolf thought he'd lay out conditions where I'd have to be an idiot to accept. Sorry, dude. As an idiot, I'm well qualified.
Out of curiosity, how many of you would agree to be interviewed by someone who's greeting is "Shit or get off the pot?" MrV? MDawg? Mickey?

So let me get this straight. You want to conduct an adversarial interview and are requesting my assistance so you don't look like an ass. LOL.
You do realize I was a journalism major for two years and conducted a couple dozen interviews working for various papers? Can't say I have ever seen a request like yours.
If you want to ask me about my history, I'd recommend asking those questions DURING THE INTERVIEW.
Then you can do your own research and figure out if I was bullshitting or not. The problem with you, as in most of your posts debating stuff, is that you want some shortcut to information or "you don't recall exactly" or some such. You gotta do the work.
Now I'll provide some timeline and some background, and I'll send along a copy of the bio from Who's Who in Sports Gambling, but let me give you some advice. The only time an interviewee is going to provide info is when the interview in question is a puff piece. Otherwise, it's insulting for an interviewer to request the interviewee make life easier for him. Can you imagine me requesting Billy Walters work up a bio so I can interview him negatively? LOL.
Have you ever interviewed anyone? I thought Mission did a really fine job, the couple of things he wrote that were interviews. I'm saying that as a journalism and Writing-Option English major and as someone who has worked for newspapers. Mission was actually very good. He was a little Dragnet-ish, but that's okay. That's the way gambling interviews should be.
Shoot me an appropriate email to IntegritySports@aol.com, and I'll try to copy and paste the bio from Who's Who in Sports Gambling. It's not a polished piece of writing; the guy doing it was just trying to be helpful to the public (he was a born-again Christian and was sick of all the tout bullshit). I'll also ship along a beat-up copy of the first interview I ever did, waaaaaaaay back after my initial year with a public handicapping newspaper column in the Valley View Citizen-Standard. This stuff was all in the infamous "package" that Alan Mendelson requested, then refused to open. You should probably also read my article, "Scientists, Gamblers, and Magicians" published in The Humanist and the paper I presented at the National Conference on Gambling and Risk-Taking, "The Gambling Personality: An Interactional Approach."
Awaiting your email address.

I'm NOT an interviewer, I'm not a reporter or investigative journalist. I don't claim to be a sports guru or know more about sports than you do. I do know some of the stuff you say is wrong. I would simply be a guest on the show, making some statements and asking some questions.
Im not Mission, Im not Dan, and Im not the Wizard, Dancer, or Munchkin. As I said before, all those guys are softballers when it comes to interviewing guests. Yes, as you put it, I would probably be more adversarial and call you out on some of the things you have said.
You have much experience with this sort of stuff, no? This should be an easy slam dunk no no-brainer for you. Or perhaps you only have experience with softball puff-pice hugs and kisses stuff.
So, yes, SHIT OR GET OFF THE POT.

I was all but sure you and I had had a few friendly, perhaps helpful DM's related to sports betting back before the "feud" all started.
No, Im not looking to reveal private conversations or anything like that. I was just trying to get a better timeline and history of events how we met on the forums, and what our online relationship was.
But, I was looking through all my DM's here and I can't find any DM's with you and me. Perhaps it was on WOV or via Email?
I have hundreds, if not thousands, of private messages on WOV, so if you recall, could you be so kind as to direct me to those conversations, as it would be time-intensive to look through that many pages.
FYI, for transparency, I want you to know that I will be asking members for help researching information and to submit questions for the interview.
Is there anything you would like me to know about you or your history?

My only request is that you get Boz to ask some questions because he has the most in-depth knowledge of the subject. And he doesn't go easy on me. Boz's questions would be the kinds of questions that even a Billy Walters would listen to because they display some savvy and experience.
I just want to hear this interview.
Is it adversarial to ask about my issues with EV and why "sharp/soft lines" it a term worthy of ridicule?
Seriously why are you guys so offended that redeitz knows more about sports betting than you anonymous jokers.
Deleted.
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

I'm certainly not offended by that, if that's the case.
For me, it's the many things he has said related to Advantage players, math guys, and guys who also participate in AP'ing sports. It's his you must have years of expiance and there is only one old-school legit way to do things, and everything else is crap attitude that irks me.
I guarantee you a relatively newcomer AP like Tom G is way more knowledgeable and better at sports betting than Red.
What a sweet-talker. One would suspect he really doesn't want me to be interviewed. LOL.
I mean, what self-respecting professional who has been doing something for 55 years wouldn't be thrilled with Axelwolf's stellar summary? Axelwolf, who probably has never bet sports with anyone shining any kind of light on him, figures he should be able to judge me with his expert "AP" mantle. He deigns to consider himself a better judge of sports betting than someone who carved out a profession and a reputation for 50 years. It's an odd arrogance, especially given that I'm supposed to agree to answer his questions, live no less.
I mean, geez, if this is how he treats an honored guest, imagine how he'd treat someone as lacking in "sports betting" experience as himself.
Now I gotta check to see if Axelwolf PM'ed me an email address so I can send him the Who's Who bio and my initial interview way back for the Steelers/Rams Super Bowl and my National Conference on Gambling and Risk-Taking paper and my gambling article in The Humanist. I figure those are good starting points for someone interviewing me, since they separate me from the usual crowd and make me a unique interview.
Anything to help out Axelwolf. He da man.
MDawg, out of curiosity, what's your take on Axelwolf's commentary prior to our interview? You think he's trying to get me to say "No mas?'"
This is actually funny stuff. Todd should be held accountable for this nonsense, one would think. But, as Woody Harrelson says in "Now You See Me," I'm feeling magnanimous. I'll still do it for a tenner.
You gotta admit. This is bizarre shit. I'm being publicly insulted in advance of an interview in which I stand to gain nothing. But masochism is my middle name, so let's go for it.
I'm going to request my filmmaker friend, James Dennison, sit in on the interview. He has met Joey Merlino a few times, so if enough F-bombs get exchanged, maybe I can qualify for the Merlino podcast if Mr. Merlino likes me. Dennison hated his last live interview (I think it was for his last movie, The Art Thief), so I think he'll be excellent support.
And I'll throw this out there in advance. What I do is only marginally "betting sports," since 85% of my betting volume is college football (not counting futures hedging in all sports). What I do should be considered "betting college football."
I'm not nearly as talented as that dude who won eight (or was it nine?) straight wagers on this forum. The guy won every single time he bet. What was his name? Oh yeah, The Riddler. I wonder who he really was.
I don't think so, the guy only just quit his job and went full-time AP within the last few years. He also doesn't claim a 56% ATS for years. I don't think he does much traditional handicapping; he does the things that Red claims are not long-term viable, not readily available, and super backroll heavy.
What I know about Tom G is that he was reluctant to admit that he was also TominNV over here, and posted many times that MDawg must be telling the truth.
