Thread: Some asshole puking drunk in a taxi cab

  1. #1
I was just getting some air outside the valet lobby entrance and a taxi cab pulled up. The door opened and someone was heaving and puking out the open door with his head out. He made a mess on the car and street. His puke was red and gross. I figured the person would try weaseling out of the taxi cab not taking any responsibility and he didn't show the taxi cab driver any respect. The guy was using a towel to wipe off the visible puke and the taxi cab driver stood there as the man walked away. I had intended to get involved trying to persuade the drunk to pay up a lot of extra money, as this was what the taxi man wanted it turned out. The guy walked away about 5'8" wearing scum bag black and was Arabic with dark hair and olive skin. He had a smug look on his face as he waltzed to the lobby doors and he insisted his gf come inside the doors and not stand outside expecting him to pay up for his puke at all. If that girl was smart, she would reconsider her involvement with him and judge him again. I think the guy deserved an ass beating from someone. This arab drunk needs to learn his lesson, he was about 26, so he still has some time to grow as a man. My gut feeling, time and age would never matter, he just would always be a scum bag, an evil person.

The taxi man was asian, kind of skinny and stressed, and he just stood by the open taxi with his hands on his ribs, elbows being out. Like his silent disgust would make the man own up to what he had done and pay for the cleaning and time off. Saturday night ruined for him by this drunk. I mentioned the man shouldn't even be drinking as it's likely against his religion. The cab driver really echoed that back to me in waves and he kept repeating the idea and saying "those people" things like "they do it all the time bringing them here". I knew what he was trying to communicate, I'm not like others that show all kinds of judgement and tone making accusations while being as mean as what they claim they're offended by. He said he was going to have to take it somewhere to get the car cleaned first and I could tell this meant his earning time was over for the Saturday night. I just don't think it's right a man can afford to go out, where fancy clothes, wear gold, and then when he causes someone else damages, he wants the damaged party to pay for it that cannot afford his negligence. Evil men and evil women just always find a place in the world, we can never get rid of them.

This reminds me of a comment my friend, the late Johnny Mucha, gave when being interviewed by the State College newspaper for a bio piece. He was a cab driver at Penn State, and he acknowledged that as an independent contractor he was paid New York City rates without New York City risks. But, he said when asked what the main problem driving in a town like State College was, "Nothing is worse than a puker." And basically, whether the fare was man or woman, you had to lead them to their doorstep while they were stumbling drunk so nothing bad happened to them and then take your cab back to the cab garage to clean it up. You were renting the cab (and dispatcher) at an hourly rate, so this all came out of your pocket timewise. Plus you had to figure out how to convince a drunk to pay you for the ride.

John actually visited LV and stayed with me one time to scout the driving opportunities in the city, which paid about the same as State College but with a different set-up. That week, however, a cab driver was shot to death near the Strat, and John talked to many cabbies in LV during his visit, and decided no, he'd stay in State College, despite the downtime in the summer. State College, he decided, was more like driving in a resort.

Speaking of people stiffing their cab drivers, one of my Customers told me he is a cab driver and he said his Customer claimed his wallet was in his house. The Cab Driver graciously let him out of the cab to get the wallet.... And the Customer RAN AWAY and NEVER paid him for the cab ride. My Customer was disgusted that his Cab Customer stole the cab ride. Cab Drivers REALLY should be demanding payment upfront like McDonald's and Burger King do.
Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanently banned.

As far as I know, staffing a community service company such as a hotel, restaurant, or taxi, often has specific laws to protect these businesses. However I understand being poor, but it's no excuse to hurt your fellow man by stealing or defrauding them.

Yes exactly you're just so delusional and so persistent in your attempts to make everyone including yourself believe they're true. For all the supposed money you make, I've never heard of it going to any good causes. I've always given what I could to those in need when I surely wasn't. I'm sure you have some money regardless and it's just sitting there to fill your crypt.

    Not cool at all.

But as much as Taxi drivers hate Uber, Uber has a “throw up fee” built into their terms so if someone does this in an Uber and the driver reports it they get $150 or thereabouts to cover the clean up and downtime cost

Well that's nice of them. It's a little low imo but better than nothing. I'd probably think $250 is closer to the mark.

I had actually heard $500 at one point but according the interwebs its $150.

Well that's the proof right there that at this forum, even a well intended comment is viewed as an insult.

You suck as a lawyer. Proof? Proof of a perfect jab straight to your lying face. I could agree your very online persona is an insult if that makes your fictional ass feel better. You're actually hurting others that have gone crazy with baccarat, because you're enabling them with your lies they believe.

was that you were somehow upset over a (mis)perceived slight, otherwise it was mostly unintelligible.

And then again there too. Well shy of coherence.

But, like I said, sometimes you are on the mark, such as some of what you crystalized in this thread, and then your other post piling on the Crimm, to the point. So I gave praise where praise was due.

If you have something to say now, why not just say it? Why be so off the wall.

    Now this,

You're not even really a lawyer. Perry Mason is as good as it gets; you just pretend to be a lawyer and other things on the internet. Your entire personae is probably just someone in your life you wish you were instead of yourself. Just be grateful I even respond to you at all when you show up in the threads like bird shit. I never even look at your posts when I know it's you posting.

This fits you so well that there's really no need to say much more, although occasionally, I might.

I don't know how else to say it, but what is it exactly you do around here? You're the creepy guy down in the basement we fired many years ago for being a loser. You're a NPC just banging your head on the wall like a retard. I simply despise you for your uselessness like that plain and simple. so quote me bitch. You don't have any posts which matter, so what you are is all it is. Nothing but a troll hiding inside the shadows almost literally with no other purpose but to pop out throwing your sht everywhere.

You don't have any posts which matter, so what you are is all it is. Nothing but a troll hiding inside the shadows almost literally with no other purpose but to pop out throwing your sht everywhere.

Except Mdawg does actually have some good posts. You see his take on some law related issue. He writes well too. The guy is articulate.

It is hard to respect someone who goes after Kewl. Whether Kewl deserves it or not at some point a respectable person should find it in themselves to move on.

But yes approximately 99% of his posts are worthless shit.
