While what Axelwolf wrote has some merit, you gotta ask yourself what are the odds in 10K posts against somebody posting real time from Las Vegas never providing details that could be synched up, checked, and verified in real time. Any details about food, shows, local events, what's on the signage across the street, immediate local weather, and so on. The absence of almost any such references in 10K posts or more is pretty unlikely.

Now I'm sure there will be some inane counter-argument about preserving anonymity, but the fact is that those kinds of details have .000000001% effect on anonymity while the actual content of the KewlJ(s) posts has many, many more identifiers than what would appear in a post about eating lunch or going to a show or about a massive local event like the F1 race.

Now here is the truth about a card counter blackjack advantage play. It is pretty much mundane. There are very few blackjack players associated with this forum anyway, but even if there were, someone describing their grinding type blackjack play would be about like watching grass grow.

Occasionally something interesting occurs. Maybe a hand you split 3 or 4 times with several double downs at Max Bet for 5 or 6 max bets on the felt, only to watch the dealer pull a 6 card 21. But if you describe that in detail especially right after it happens it can be identifying if someone involved or that saw it happens to read.

The other somewhat unusual occurrences involve heat related situations and likewise if you describe such an incident on public forum it can be identifying.

So NO, I am not going to sit here day after day and describe the mundane details of my play. I had a 12 drew a 7 for 19, dealer turned over a 17. Could anything be more boring. These guys that do describe their play minute by minute are usually making up some ridiculous shit like won 60 hands in a row, played for 10 straight hours spreading $100-$5000, won 45k and the pit said or did nothing.

Now last year, when I was doing something that was pretty unusual and unique, a play my brother found on an electronic type BJ machines, I mentioned it only because I was seeking more information about what it might be worth. And me mentioning it, might just have shortened the play, I don't know. Seems like the guys in other parts of the country were onto the play by the time we made our way across country. Maybe that had nothing to do with me mentioning and they just discovered it on their own, or maybe it had everything to do with me mentioning it. Generally, for an AP nothing good can come from talking to much about anything, unless it was 20 years ago.
