Thread: Big Casino Wins and Jackpots

  1. #521
So after work today I decided to take a quick jog over Las Vegas to play some video poker with all the skills I have learned from this forum.

After running my hand across several of the machines and detecting they were all in cold cycles, I knew I had to pass and keep looking. I finally spotted a machine that was very similar to one that a casino employee smuggled out for me to keep in my home for a few months. Now, I completed a several billion hand assessment with this machine so I knew when it was going to hit. Good thing too because I only had 10 minutes to play before I had to get home and watch Monday Night Raw in my trailer.

So, I put in my money and hit MAX BET. Lo and behold...I was dealt 4 Aces with a kicker! Magnificent! Here is my proof!

Note the $25 dollar symbol fits nicely in the oval graphic.

Now when the slot attendant came to pay me, she first called a supervisor over then almost simultaneously took out my players card and inserted their card...or was it the other way around? I can't remember...at any rate I didn't bother to tip anyone because I was told doing that would make me a millionaire, and despite this fantastic win, I was still $750,000 short, so I had to stick with the strategies learned here.

Now Rob, that empty feeling in the pit of your stomach...is it envy? Or haven't you eaten in a few days? When I post a jackpot, just close your eyes and the uneasy feeling of incompetency will quickly pass. Either that, or continue to get irritated by my luck and ability! Suck it up sunshine!

Wow, Eddie, awesome hit! What are you going to do with the winnings? Down payment on a new RV?

Finally a jackpot story that comes with some solid evidence. Eddie, nobody will doubt your win even if it was a loss. Hey Robbie, solid story right? Good photo proof right? And Eddie topped your jackpot. The PAIN, the PAIN

The royal was on machine #3116 which is the old, upright round-top game king. This is my "favorite" machine because it has both Aces and Faces and Royal Aces Bonus at denominations starting at 25-cents and going up to $2. This is the same machine I got the dealt AAAA playing Royal Aces Bonus.

The quad aces on Aces and Faces are in the high limit room, on the bank of machines with the $5 double double bonus progressive. The machine I played is a machine that also has the various Game King games including Keno and the various video poker games.

The "new models" are all the uprights with the big screens and they have all have reduced pay tables, including Aces and Faces at 7/5. I do not play those machines.

There are only two 8/5 Aces and Faces games left on the casino floor outside of those in the high limit room... machine 3116 and another machine which I think is in the non smoking section. 3116 is in the new, video poker area by the Garden tower. It used to be in the old video poker room and prior to that it was in the old non-smoking section outside the restaurants.

Imagine your winning streak as a steep climb on a stock price chart and when you fall back down 1/3rd of the other side of the "mountain" from the very top of the streak's "peak" it's a good time for me to stop and smell the coffee.
This made me smile, because I use technical analysis for stock investing. I learned TA from Stan Weinstein (author: Professional Tape Reader) I know Stan from the years I spent as a reporter in Miami at WTVJ and interviewed him almost on a weekly basis and became friends with him. (He had an arcade Ms Pac Man in his office... which was way cool back in the mid 1980s.)

I once tried to "chart" craps tables using his methodology for stocks: base building (stage 1), growth phase (stage 2), topping out (stage 3), selling (stage 4). Stan said you could chart anything and everything will follow this same pattern (cycle).

Personally, I hit stage 3 (topping out) after those two royals I hit last October, then I went into the decline stage 4. After my losing New Years Weekend I was base building again on Stage 1 with small, consistent wins that I would take home with me (the $3K of profits since New Year's) and now I just had (according to Weinstein's charting) a stage 2 growth "break out."

According to Weinstein the "good run" will last only as long as the "good run lasts." Meaning it could be over already.

But I will say this: before I hit the royal on that $2 machine, I was converting an abnormally high percentage of pairs into trips and full houses, and four card flushes into completed flushes... and I had the feeling that the machine was "hot."

Ironically, this is what happened the night before with the quad aces on Royal Aces Bonus: I was making a lot of small wins (two pairs, three of a kind) when suddenly I was dealt the quad aces.

Well after a refreshing 2 hour nap, I made the 4.5 hour flight back to Las Vegas because hey, Rob's advice has really worked out well for me as you can see by my previous huge win!

I modified his strategy a bit though for play on slot machines. You see, the jackpots on slot machines are quite higher than video poker machines, and I don't see why his strategies of quitting while you are ahead, not tipping cocktail waitresses, limited play, getting lucky, and going for session ending longshots wouldn't work on something like a Megabucks machine. He was never able to explain or provide evidence either, so I thought he was holding out on us. Here was my strategy.

I started out with $100. I would play just the Megabucks machines starting at 1 cent and work up to $1. No way was I going to give back any of the $250,000 I won just 8 hours ago. That'll teach them!

I was down to my last $3 when I hit this:

Oh, and as I've learned from Rob here's another picture for all the doubters and haters out there. Absolutely unquestionable definitive undeniable proof!

So now I'm a millionaire! I'm the greatest! Now you would think that since I'm a self-made millionaire I would find some other hobbies or stay out of the casinos because hey, I don't want to lose back all the money I've won right? WRONG! I think I'll go to Tunica for awhile, then New Orleans, then Las Vegas and possibly Reno and Lake Tahoe to do some more gambling because hey, that's what WINNING money allows you to do right? And besides, Rob was onto something here all along. If you never lose going into a casino and hit jackpots within minutes, why wouldn't you continue to do so?

I'm not quite "tired of winning" yet like Rob is, so I may post a few more nice wins from my next casino visit that I can all but guarantee will occur.

    Envious yet Rob?

Nah, I'm not the RV type. Poor mileage. Bad driving them in wintery conditions. I never did ask Rob how he manages to drive around Lake Tahoe in his RV. Lots of treacherous icy, curving mountain roads, and closures. I guess he must put some pretty heavy chains on his tires.

    This is beautiful.

Just please use some of your winnings so the forum inhabitants can spend a week in a Den of Pure Envy. Sounds way better than a Carnival Cruise.

Luckily they didn't kick me out for being shirtless before I hit this one. I did send Alan my drivers license so he can verify that this is me.

So, you'll never guess what happened on my flight back home after winning the Megabucks earlier this morning. Boy am I on an unprecedented streak of luck that may even rival Rob's!

First of all, since I won $1.5 million in the last 18 hours, I decided to treat the airline staff like "little people" and demanded to ride shotgun in the 747 on the way home. Why not? They were all envious of me and my fantastic wins and would do or believe anything I said anyways. Here is a picture of the cockpit.

So while we were just flying out of Las Vegas and over Utah, I noticed a UFO on the right hand side! Here's the proof!

Well, how often does someone see something like that AND get "undeniable" photographic proof? I ordered the pilot to follow that MOFO to get another picture to make sure I silenced any doubters.

Unfortunately, ET went home too fast and our plane couldn't keep up. All was not lost however, because a beautiful rainbow appeared. Proof below.

Hey...wasn't there something about rainbows and...Holy shit! What was that! It looked like a bona fide little person riding...what? Could it be? Not a Unicorn, no...and not a winged horse...OH MY! It was a Winged Unicorn! How rare is that? The odds of seeing one of these beauties was not quite as unlikely as hitting $50,000 twice and a $100,000 on 3 different video poker machines at 3 different casinos within a 1 week period after just 10 minutes of play, but I still considered myself lucky! It was flying too fast though, so please just accept my private and personal artist's rendition.

Well, it had to land eventually, and I finally caught up to the "little person" riding this fabled beast.

He was a tough little bugger though, in no way, shape or form like these "sissified blonde girly-men" I keep reading about. The crew was finally able to subdue him, but he wasn't going to give up his pot of gold unless we could guess his name. It turns out his name was "Robbie-Stiltskin" and once it was uttered, he had no choice but to lead us to:

Who needs casinos and video poker when there's gold lying around everywhere? I can do anything! I'm going to find out who really killed JFK next. What other secrets of the Universe can I uncover? Don't worry, I won't be like Rob...I'll share all my information and discoveries freely!Story to follow!

I was thinking about taking all of the creative writing and transferring it to a different thread and calling it "Rob Singer Report Challenges and Disbelief," but I decided to keep the satire here when I read the following which made it all perfectly clear and acceptable for this particular thread:

Also, kudos for some very good, creative writing and creative imagery... to EVERYONE on BOTH SIDES of the discussion.

And with that said, when I was at Rincon, after hitting my royal, I was discussing "royals" with some of the floor crew and the conversation turned to the removal of the $100 video poker machines. The reason they were removed is that they were being hit for royals TOO OFTEN and the casino was actually losing money on them. It seems that the Tribe wouldn't buy the idea that it was short term variance... so the machines came out.

Then the conversation turned to about one devoted $100 player who always played the same machine (If I recall there were four of them at one time) who lost $100,000 at his session before calling it a night and going up to his room. A few minutes after he left a lady sat down at the same machine, put in a couple of thousand and hit the $400K royal. The floor people told me they never told the guy what happened.

All this stuff--it's just common agitation-release that's expected when someone so hated wins so often....and I LIKE it!!

The reason Alan's wins are never challenged? Simple. He says he loses. The paupers here can relate to that kind of admission. But disrupt their belief system, and their only remaining option is to deflect the resulting misery of what's happening....to create an alternative reality.

But alas, more Undeniable Truth is here yet again. More "it just can't be!"....more "if this only could happen to me (if I could afford to play above quarters, that is" )

Alan, I posted two pictures of this win today (and excuse the blur on the first) because I purposely played one of those seemingly newer machines we recently talked about that have the "verification required" screen pop up and probably after any handpay like you said. So I agree on that point, although I still did see a similar screen in 2005 on a $100k win. They must have recently incorporated that into every taxable instead of only on huge winners.

Notice the 8/5 pay table for ddbp. So HOW much did I lose on every hand, math guys? Anyway, the play went like this: I played a 5-level 25c thru $5 ARTT. In this spread I put in $2000, and as you can see, my profit for this 40 minute session was another coooool $8525.

BTW eddie, while some people do run chains on RV's, only a moron would do that in the winter, and only a moron like you would think that's how we move around. Ever hear of a car? Or maybe you can't make payments....

So let the continuing P-A-I-N-F-E-S-T roll on. And really Alan, these clowns don't deserve any further education on this. But I really think redietz is longing for a schlonging.

Enjoy! And by the way----over, & OUT! I'm banning myself for winning.

Rob, a reader sent me this question about your strategy: how do you cash out the "soft wins" on each hand? Do you actually hit the cash out button and then insert new money/tickets? Or what is the actual procedure you follow?

Nice hit Rob. Does this mean you are now playing video poker on a daily basis?

You're right. Your claims that you win every time should be believed! Well, I'm winning every time too as you can see from above. And much bigger jackpots than you have ever posted.

BTW, I don't think it's you photo shopping these pictures because you have already admitted to being too stupid and not knowing how. So tell whoever you are paying (or giving oral sex to) to make sure to do a better job. The entire paytable at the 5 coin column is missing in both pictures and the $5 denomination isn't centered within the oval graphic.

Are we supposed to believe this too? I sure hope you keep your word this one time!
