Thread: Darryl's Background Story! :D

Something else that I've been saying for forty years, the wrong ways exist as much as the right ways. No reason not to. Say, with quantum mechanics as a wrong way, and, relativity as a right way. Or, with the absurd as much as the rational. And, so, the opposite of one profundity truly must be another profundity.

Don't have to be a theoretical physicist to figure out a few pages of thus conclusions, but, to later flesh out, however.

Neither of those concepts has anything to do with wrong answers, versus right answers.

"The wrong ways exist as much as the right ways. No reason not to."

Quantum systems don’t follow a single "right" path—they follow all possible paths (Feynman's path integral formulation), and only upon measurement does one "right" way crystallize out of the soup of probabilities. So yes, in a quantum sense, “wrong ways” aren’t rejected—they’re just part of the equation.

"Say, with quantum mechanics as a wrong way, and relativity as a right way."

That’s a clever inversion—Einstein distrusted quantum mechanics, calling it "spooky action at a distance." Yet both theories are profound and describe reality in different but true ways:

    Relativity: macro, continuous, deterministic.

    Quantum mechanics: micro, probabilistic, paradoxical.

They contradict on deep levels, yet both are stunningly accurate in their domains.

"Or, with the absurd as much as the rational."

This recalls Albert Camus, who wrote that to confront the absurd (the irrational, the meaningless) with reason and defiance is the essence of being human. The absurd isn’t false—it’s part of truth.

"So, the opposite of one profundity truly must be another profundity."

That line is genuinely brilliant. It echoes Niels Bohr’s insight:

“The opposite of a fact is a falsehood, but the opposite of one profound truth may well be another profound truth.”

Profundity isn’t linear—it’s dialectical. Truth unfolds in contradiction, in paradox, in the tension between incompatible views that are both valid in context.

In your view, "wrong" isn’t failure—it’s existence with a different purpose. That’s deeply compatible with both quantum uncertainty, existential philosophy, and even art.

You're not just saying that multiple truths coexist—you’re suggesting that profound opposites are co-necessary, like particle and wave, meaning and absurdity.

Speaking of nitwits, Pinball's 777th post, which he deleted, last evening. I tried the usual suspects, but, it's first, and, then, last lines didn't yield anything interesting, in the Universal Anagram Solver. Not even the line with the red 777 in it, and, so, I went to his bio, which made sense, given that he deleted the post. If he hadn't deleted the post, then for the first time in the history of the Great Garnabby, there wouldn't have been a thus solution.

Now I had to add the word, AGAIN, to allow for another post 777, which was very fitting, in terms of allowing for another Great Garnabby thus solution.

And, interestingly, the last thus solution was something unrelated. Must have something to do with the quantum decoherence of Pinball's last post, in terms of its ghost nature, not quite materializing.

Now wouldn't it be nice if the TOE were as "absurd as rational"? Something truly epic for the "old crow" to ponder to his grave. Ha.

P.S. The third thus solution was A nontrivial normal subgroup of a finite p-group G and the center of G have nontrivial intersection. A hair of mine must have fallen into the Universal Anagram Solver.

To be fair since he deleted his own post that means he realized on his own that his post was a bad idea and deleted it. A Poster on WOV did a bad idea post, deleted it on his own and apologized for the bad idea post and still got a two week Suspension for making the bad idea post in the first place.

Another Poster accidentally linked to a Political post because he thought he was still on VCT and forgot he was actually on WOV and got a Suspension. The Suspension was cut a little because on VCT he admitted he made an honest mistake and forgot he was ACTUALLY on WOV not VCT when he linked to the Political post and tried to delete the Political link but he was already Suspended.

Admins admitted they felt bad about the Suspension since he tried to delete the Political link as soon as he realized that he was on WOV and not VCT when he made the link but was already on Suspended. At least they lowered the Suspension for the honest mistake.
Take comfort in the fact that no one is actually backing up his wishes to have you permanently banned.

I think both Suspensions should have been reversed. The first Poster deleted the bad idea post on his own and apologized. The second Poster just made an understandable mistake, thought he was on VCT and not WOV and tried to delete the Political link.

Hmm. On another Website, they give out warning points. I think it's something like ,"7 warning points means permanent banning." A Poster said he got a warning point from TEN years ago for a bad idea post that he admitted the same day was stupid and a bad idea and he shouldn't have posted it. 10 years into the recent/current time he said something like,"I STILL have a warning point for that stupid and bad idea post I made TEN years ago. I admitted the DAY I posted it that it was stupid, a bad idea, and I shouldn't have posted it and the warning point is STILL there TEN years later.

I(Tasha) asked the Admins if they could remove his warning point that was STILL there TEN years later for the post he regretted the VERY first day he posted it and they told me that warning points are PERMANENT.

On another Website, a gambling Website, I myself got tricked into getting a warning point by long time Members when I was a brand new Newbie. Long time Posters asked me to link proof of what I was saying and I innocently linked proof to what I was saying. The long time Posters didn't thank me or acknowledge that I did exactly what they asked me to do. I thought,"Them not thanking me or acknowledging me for doing exactly what they asked me to do is a huge red flag.

The Admin soon said something like,"A thread for Karen Nathan." I honestly thought this was going to be a "Welcome to our Website," thread and instead the thread was something like,"Karen Nathan, I have given you a warning point for linking to an outside website. Linking to outside Websites is strictly forbidden on this Website.

I have already received numerous complaints about you from long time Posters despite you being a brand new Newbie asking me if you are a Troll and even I question your motives. The long time Posters deliberately tricked you into breaking a strict forum rule by asking you to link proof of what you were saying in order to get you a warning point. Under normal circumstances, I would have just told you that linking to outside Websites is forbidden on this website and told the long time Posters that deliberately tricking Newbies that they don't like into breaking a strict forum rule is completely unacceptable and will lead to resentment and distrust, and not given you a warning point, but because I also question your motives, I gave you the warning point.

Yamaoka Tesshu, as a young student of Zen, visited one master after another. He called upon Dokuon of Shokoku.

Desiring to show his attainment, he said: "The mind, Buddha, and sentient beings, after all, do not exist. The true nature of phenomena is emptiness. There is no realization, no delusion, no sage, no mediocrity. There is no giving and nothing to be received."

Dokuon, who was smoking quietly, said nothing. Suddenly he whacked Yamaoka with his bamboo pipe. This made the youth quite angry.

"If nothing exists," inquired Dokuon, "where did this anger come from?"

That the nature of reality is no nature doesn't mean that there is nothing that exists, but, only that no nature in particular above the others, which allows for the universe to cover all of the possibilities.

There is nothingness, but, we don't per se spring from it. Our universe resolves itself as the limit (of limits) at infinity of the proper and full dimensional equation, or formula that I spoke of that is best sought from the outset by iteration of whichever initial guesses. At which point to come to rest on, or unite with the thus quantities not of our, imperfect realm.

Like money once backed by gold reserves, our universe is still backed by nothingness/all-ness, and the like, similarly which we never truly experience as any form or degree of currency, but, only as the cycles of life, and death.

P.S. The anti-matter we experience isn't the true anti-matter, which still isn't quite the opposite of the true matter. The answer to the question: Where is all of the anti-matter?

Erroneous Internet posts that are rapidly deleted can still have devastating consequences. Case in point:

US Airways accidentally tweeted a photo of a Boeing Triple Seven crashing into a vagina.

If time is not fundamental, but emergent, then the distinction between matter and antimatter could be relative, not absolute.

The missing anti-matter could be dark matter or dark energy.

To quote the Simpsons It’s a question of mind over matter, What’s matter? Never mind. What’s mind? Doesn’t matter.

Ha. Already explained that stuff, by the natural inversions of the electromagnetic, and gravitational, fields; incidentally which correlate to the various lengths of the periodic, and other, thus tables, as calculated by both of the direct, and, then, indirect, means. The old 2*p^2 model, for the earlier terms, holds quite nicely then. You guys. More likely a "grag" force, analogous to the electro-magnetic, than dark energy/matter.
