One last thing that you KJ haters do. Is try to claim there are no other card counters and/or that card counting is no longer possible. This is a sentiment by people that just have no clue what they are talking about.
The only partial truth to that is there are not nearly, actually a tiny fraction of players that engage in a lot of card counting than 10-15 years ago. . BUT that isn't because it is dead, it is because for most players playing with an advantage there are better opportunities with bigger advantage and less hassle.
I am going to say there are 10 people living in Vegas that count cards, either for a living or several retired people that are supplementing retirement. Admittedly I am working off data that is several years old, because I haven't played the local's circuit much the past few years which is where I encountered them. But I would bet it is about the same number.
And then there are dozens more that travel around the country counting cards, and Vegas is one of the frequent stops.
So anyone claiming card counting isn't a thing and no longer possible is someone that doesn't have a clue. AND I can prove it. I challenge anyone to take a look at one of the databases in use here in Vegas (OSN still most widely used although there are others). Take a look at the most recent entries at any given time and tell me what they say. About half say card counter and/or suspected card counter. Why would the database be full of suspected card counters if there were none?
