My sport was baseball. In high school I played against 2 guys that made it to the MLB. But since both were position players, as was I, there was no real one on one type action that you could claim if one party was a pitcher. Just two guys that eventually got where all of us dreamed of getting for a little while.

Now my brother was on the same high school baseball team as Jacob DeGrom. A few years behind him, but on the same team. De Grom was both a pitcher and infielder on that team. He claims he used to routinely hit off DeGrom in practice. Not really the same thing, but meaningful to him.

I don't mind Red's sports stories at all. What is a little annoying is that he uses to it mention or work into the conversation, some expert in some field that he claims will back up his point about something.
