In fairness there was a little bit of mickey going after Dietz at the beginning. Mickey took offense to Dietz's comment comparing SS to welfare and saying he was living off the government teet.

But as time has gone on it has become more than that. Mickey is an advantage player and very obviously spends time, learning all he can about different forms of AP, including sports betting. And that includes watching videos from real players. So the more he dug into sports betting, the more it became obvious to him that Dietz's claims and comments didn't make sense, nor match any other real players.

I have some of that in me as well. There are many times I read something someone writes (especially on more populated forums), and red flags go off and I conclude (not based on any 1 thing said) that they are full of shit. I don't say anything about 98% of them. I am not the advantage player police.

BUT if I do say something, even something very general challenging something and their response is to attack me and continue attacking and lying about me, then yeah, it becomes a little personal and if you have the opportunity to take them down you will.

This happened with me and Dawg. I knew from the first day Dawg posted that his claims were complete bullshit. For a long time I didn't say anything. I wasn't even on a forum with him at that time. But when I returned to WoV, about a year into his silliness by that point, yeah, I had to say something. But I was very polite in my comments (at first). I simply challenged some things said that didn't 'work". And his response was to attack me, not at WoV, where he knew he couldn't but to come here and attack, make up lie, repeat lies. So yeah, at that point it is personal. he made it so.

So when I had the opportunity to get his records and take him down, I did! I would have never done so if he had just been respectful.
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

An interview doesn't require a live audience, beyond the subject and the interviewer.

You've been hounding the guy for quite some time about ducking interviews, so he invited you to interview him and provided access.

Now you are agreeing that you are a big pussy, because you didn't call in.

    Go get your shine box.
Goddam right I hounded him. He fucking lied from the start. But he's stated his position here of EV in sports betting multiple times. I know exactly where he stands. And I told him a while back that I was no longer interested in him doing an interview. That don't change the fact he lied about doing an interview and welshed on two challenges in which he was the one that made those challenges. Sooner or later you just have to say fuck an idiot like that.

You didn't call in yet? You big pussy.

LOL. Mickey, why don't you call? No harm exposing your phone number, right? You're a real dude with a real name.

Or, conversely, if you want me to buy you a burner phone, all you have to do is ask sweetly. Then I'll ship it to you...General Delivery? Hmmmm, then you gotta show ID in the post office. That could get you killed, you know, them Viet Cong are tricky. Can you send to a pseudonym General Delivery? I don't see why not.

Well, I'm sure we can figure a way out of this quandary. It seems to me there was this thing way back in history; I think they called it a "phone book" or something. Had everyone's numbers in it. Probably got a lot of people killed. Viet Cong were bitches.

I wanted redietz to do an interview on GWAE because so many pro sports bettors had already interviewed on that show and I knew they listened to the GWAE podcasts. So maybe his take on EV in sportsbetting might generate a conversation among the pros on whether it can be measured to any degree or not.

Dancer, in an email, then told me redietz would not be on the show but didn't explain why. Then they shut GWAE down after a couple more shows. It was like six months later I asked Munchkin why they didn't have redietzs on the show. He said, and you guys have seen the DM, that he asked redietz to be on one of the very final GWAE shows but redietz turned him down.

BTW, that's another lie redietz told, that he didn't turn down Munchkin. A few months back, Munchkin again confirmed that redietz turned him down.

Now all this time has passed, no chance of a GWAE interview happening. Redietz has explained his position quite thoroughly on EV in sports betting right here on this site. Pro sports bettors are not likely to hear an interview on PFA Radio.

So I'm taking a different route. Contacting pro sports bettors and ask them how they measure EV. Redietz doesn't really matter anymore.

Well, for the record, coach called in. But I figure that deserves its own thread. Give me 20 minutes. Thanks in advance.

And watch out for them Viet Cong.

I never turned down Munchkin, mickey. If you want to wager on a polygraph outcome for that, we can get it done. Money goes in escrow. I pass, you pay for the polygraph. I fail; I pay. Easy peasie.

Polygraphs, telephone books and general delivery. Somebody inform this guy what decade and century we are in. Dietz, maybe you can contact mickeycrimm by telegraph or send up a smoke signal.

AP's that play machines and play rated and get points, usually have multiple mail addresses, even if only a drop box situation. No ID required goofball, Dietz.

Can't wait for the transcript of the Bob Dietz - coach belly conversation. Ought to give Tasha a real run for her money as to irrelevance.

Dan Druff: what is the deal with you?

You mentioned having Redietz on months and months ago? I know you are a bit scatterbrained and tend to lose interest in things, but something doesn't seem right here. Is there something you are not telling us? Did you change your mind about having Dietz on? Did he contact you and decline to be on and you are not telling us? What is going on?

KJ, he may think of this forum as his own Cabinet of Curiosities, and only pops in periodically to see what the latest two-headed calf looks like.

Fuck your polygraph bullshit. Munchkin told me, not once but twice, that you turned him down. You are, in effect, calling Munchkin a liar. The 2nd time munchkin confirmed redietz turned him down was after redietz had lobbied him to change his story. Munchkin didnt change it.

MUNCHKIN ASKED REDIETZ TO APPEAR ON GWAE BUT REDIETZ TURNED HIM DOWN. REPEAT. MUNCHKIN ASKED REDIETZ TO APPEAR ON GWAE BUT REDIETZ TURNED HIM DOWN, PERIOD.

You seem to forget you've alluded to being a snitch of some sort many times. Why would anyone care to give you their info to argue idiocies with you?

Everyone gets the EV thing and the shortcomings of using it in sports betting. It is beyond obvious to people who are successful at this stuff. You're such a fool. Then you claim EV is known after the outcome when it is then VALUE and not EXPECTED. Just so endlessly stupid. Poor Dennison to not have much else going on .. maybe you at least tell him some interesting story?

Also - your picking on Mickey about some .500 thing or whatever. I remember you guys arguing about this. IIRC it was fairly ambiguous but I and most any sharp person on this forum realizes that even if Mickey is a retard in his political views and understanding of media/news - he sure knows his numbers and has a very strong intuitive understanding of math which is frankly quite impressive. Had he had a different background and not other issues - I'm sure he could have found success in some field. Anyone new to AP slots and serious about it will point to his posts as primers in how to calculate EV. It is impressive.

You on the other hand just cloak your statements in bullshit constantly. Who here has ever said "hey go read this post of Redietz's - it is informative".
    Exactly NO FUCKING ONE!

You simply do not understand so much. You seem to mock the term "sharp lines" which suggests there is a lot you simply don't understand. I don't give a fuck who you jerked off in college hoops to buddy buddy them. Seriously. Do not fucking care.

You came up at a time when teh lines were very weak. THis is why you may have gotten by without EV. Even if you bet a few -EV spots, the EV in the other lines might have covered it. I don't know for a fact but this is my theory.

I do know how you like to pat yourself on the back for knowing some obscure football rule change but never seem to stop and realize that the betting played today is far different than the game you played when you demonstrated a suggestion of success.

Fuck, you mock people for being limited. As if the book has to be scared of you for this to happen when the reality is they're just cleaning up their customer list so they're not dying by a thousand paper cuts. But nah, Redietz doesn't even know that. So few clues. fuck off, jfc.

    .

note - this post doesn't belong in this thread - I wasn't thinking clearly when I put it here - but I guess it's no big deal - this thread is about KJ - my guess is he won't mind - if he does - then I apologize

since Red talked about some of his basketball playing days I thought I would post some of my history with hoops

as if there is a single human being on the planet who gives a sh**_________________

this is just a little brag - not too big - some personal info
    I was very good for a h.s. player - 18 p.p.g. my junior year
but I wasn't great - not even remotely close
I also played 2 years for a small college - Division 1 - leading scorer on the freshman team - 8 p.p.g as a sophomore sometimes starting sometimes 6th man
couldn't stand the varsity Coach and quit after my sophomore year

but what I CAN brag about is some of the players I got out on the court with

in h.s. in the DC area we played John Thompson's team - St. Anthonys - his very first coaching job

they were awesome - at the season's end Sport Magazine named them the #1 h.s. team in the country - of course they crushed us

I had 11 points - I had double figures on a John Thompson team - of course all of his teams were known for great defense

Thompson won a National Championship coaching Georgetown and Pat Ewing in 1984 and appeared in 3 Final Fours and was named Coach of the Year 7 times

my little college - 2,400 students played Pitt - 35,000 students - this is not unusual - I guess the big colleges that do this consider it a practice game or a scrimmage

    my claim to fame :_______________

against Pitt I had a 3 point play on Billy Knight who was picked as 2nd team All America and became an NBA and ABA All Star

the funny thing is - he didn't foul me - he didn't even touch me - just came close - but the ref called it

Pitt only beat us by 13

on the local DC area playgrounds I got to get out on the court with Austin Carr

he was the best h.s. player and one of the best college players I've ever seen - in h.s. he was like a 16 year old Oscar Robertson -

his 61 points in an NCAA tournament game - 1970 - is a record that still stands and may never be broken

his record scoring average of 50 p.p.g. in 7 NCAA tournament games also still stands

in college he was truly fantastic - his NBA career was not nearly as strong but he was named an NBA All Star in one of his years

for back then - not for now - I was an excellent leaper - only 5'9" I couldn't dunk because I couldn't palm the ball - but I could go about 6 inches over the rim

impressive for that era for someone that size
