I've been trying to find a good deal on a utility trailer for hauling Lumber and what not. I wasn't finding anything reasonable used, they were close to the prices of new ones. For some reason, Oregon had a lot of good deals where you got a lot of bang for your buck as far as bed size and tire size. You could pick up a used 10 to 12-footer between $600 and $900, of course, I would have to drive a minimum of 2 hours one way.
I said fuck it, and just bought a brand new 5x8 for around $1,150 after taxes. But I'm still looking for jet skis, quads, and a 4x4. I just have to figure out if the Savings in Oregon are worth the time and travel. I'm not talking about the taxes per se, it just seems stuff like that is overall cheaper in Oregon.
