Yeah so I glanced at some older games and unfortunately the Angels biggest weaknesses were losing many games to division rivals Texas, Seattle, and Houston. They need to of course not let this continue. Washington coming up seems a good series for the Angels to sweep, but Im worried about the Braves for some reason.

Very frustrating. Kerkling, one of the Philles late inning closers gave up a run in the bottom of eight for a loss today. Bullpen/closers are a disaster. I am sure they are aware of this. Be interesting to see how aggressive they are at trade deadline. Won't come cheap, going to have to give up a player or two I would rather not, but this current bullpen is NOT going to get them where they want to go.
Of course none of that even matters if you score 1 run over 3 games.

Of course I was disappointed too the Astros kept winning. Im starting now to add WS bets on them. Pitching is everything and they have it in spades. The bar has been set for the Angels needing to be 5 games over .500 by the trade deadline. They need to sweep the Nationals and cannot afford anything less than 2/3. The July schedule is tough, but the Angels can beat other >.500 teams that are not the Astros. Teams hard to beat, Mariners, Rangers, Mets, Phillies, actually all I fear, also including the Braves and Blue Jays. Their entire July schedule is scary.
A couple more big "overs" days yesterday and today. Yesterday overs hit 10-5. Today 9-4 with one game going on (phils down 2-1, probably not going to get there) and one game yet to start.
there were a couple not great days mid week though, so not in the stretch like late last June when Over's kicked ass for 5-6 weeks.
But for the next couple months as I play through my rollovers, I am looking more towards overs. NOT blindly betting all overs, but definitely taking a look at starting pitching and weather conditions with an eye on OVERS.

I bet peanuts now on sports and it feels bad. Angels up 4-0 in top of eighth with 2 out. I bet $100 +165 and $50 angels ML , Angels first to score and Angel's pitcher over 4.5 strikeouts and he had 7. $408 from $150. Ironically I keep betting my excess on Houston World Series winner.

So that's what I did, placed all my winning from yesterday on Houston to win the WS(+1200) and pennant(+450). Idk why, but yesterday I was allowed to bet the Angels ML, and Angel's first to score and Angel's pitcher strikeouts over, but today they say first to score is ineligible for single game parlay. Took the under instead for today.
People always used to say, betting on sports makes the games interesting. However I've noticed betting these days actually ruins it because you can ruin it. When I bet,, I'm watching the game and have to check an app to fast forward into the future. I bet Detroit today, and I cracked the hell up seeing them up 6-0 in the top of the first. Bet $1000 so far on Houston futures, almost wanted to place $300 on KJs Phillies but I decided not at this time because Houston will have their odds improved.
Houston is an interesting team. I feel like some key players like Altuve are past their prime. That is not to say washed, up, but beginning to decline. But they have managed to sprinkle in some new young talent. Pitching is the Key. The Astros have two of the top half dozen or so starters in baseball, Plus a good bullpen. Having opened up the lead they have in the weak AL west, they should win that division. And that pitching makes them a threat in the playoffs. 2 real good starting pitchers can carry you a long way with all the off days in playoffs. There is an old saying when you have two good pitchers, play 2 games and hope for rain in game 3, (pushing back a day, so you can use pitchers 1 & 2 again).

I bet the Brewers and Angels tonight. Brewers bexause of Misiorowski. I shouldn't even bet the Angels because when I bet more than $50, they tend to lose.
The Brewers are down 5-2 after back to back HRS. One more and I get that $100 bet free as a consolation. Angels up 2-0, Im nervous about it the whole game.
Angels gave up 7 runs in the bottom of the 6th including a grand slam. If I lose all my bets, won't be any more until my free mycash and bonus bets come through with my tier benefits.

Strange Yankee game. Gave up 7 in the first inning. (a lot of big innings today, with numerous grand slams). Then the yanks battled back to tie, currently 9-9. Strange call to pitch to Judge in Bottom 8 with a man on and down 2. Strange call because they have chosen to walk him intentionally 4 times in this series. So then the biggest moment of a game, they decide not to. And he makes them pay.

Well the BIG overs day fizzled as the evening wore on. Day finished with 11 games going over and 8 under. An Ok day, but midway through the 4-5 pm games (that would be the 7-8pm games on east coast), it looked like maybe a 13 or 14 overs day. Of my games, 7 over and 4 under.
