Thread: Plastic shopping carts

  1. #1
Just was grocery shopping and noticed they had plastic shopping carts. Filled my cart full, didnt even take much effort to push then. They were so light, so easy to push, Im starting to wonder if they were self-propelled. 2025, didn't even know how bad the struggle has been.

Ah yes, and not only shoppers will benefit: the homeless will love it too.

I assume a plastic cart costs the store less than a metal one, and if so they'll save money due to rampant theft by the homeless.

Out here in the PNW lots of losers are wandering around with their "life" in a shopping cart: just so pathetic.

    Not me.

I worked hard, stayed out of trouble, have a strong family support network if needed to fall back upon.

Most of the homeless are either former prison inmates who cannot make it, nut cases, or druggies.

They all made the wrong choices, even the nut cases...they should have stayed on their meds.

Yes you. Could still be you. If one of the near miss car accidents ever happened, could have been you getting oxycodone or an infinite number of bad outcomes.

Sure, had I been a fuck up I could be homeless.

As for car accidents: I've been in several, including one which fractured a vertebrae.

I did briefly develop a taste for prescription codeine but I used will power to stop, just as I quit drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes.

No, I'd never have been homeless...if nothing else I have family that would have taken me in.

Being homeless doesn't seem that bad until you realize who your neighbors will be. Even if you live in the fancy homeless camp......

Don’t worry. They’ll figure out a way to come for you soon.

    They are coming for everyone.

Sorry man. You are a proud example of making it and having a good life, but still it was all God's will. He'll take you down if you get in his way or are not ready for whatever he wants from you.

I don't need or really even want the $$$ (I have way, way more than enough and I don't hunger for material possessions)

    LOL

I'm an atheist, I opt for science and not superstition.

Save that religious claptrapt for those who believe their invisible savior can whoop anybody else's invisible savior.
