Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".
Understood, thanks for clarifying.
What, Me Worry?
Well, I haven't posted any additions in months, and there is no forum, comments section, and so on. Just my blog.
Readership for August was about 1200. For July it was 8K. Hong Kong and the US are currently the top viewers. Brazil was on top for several months.
We will await the brilliant conjectures by the inimitable kewlJ, whose guessing is about as authoritative as his personal narratives.
Dietz, congrats on being a "bot magnet". Or do YOU really think there are a ton of real live breathing people in Hong Kong and Brazil anxious to see what a "tout" from the U.S. has to say?
Dietz, you should have quit after your claim of having criminal "dirt" on Singer. It has been all downhill since.

I give up, what would the brilliant kewlj estimate is the actual readership? LOL. Whatever it is sans bots, it's both read more and believed (much more) than anything the kewlJ has to say. I've had X feed back-and-forths with Chris Cuomo and Michael Shermer, not to mention South Point's Jimmy Vaccaro, who just retired after 50 years of bookmaking. Mr. Vaccaro was kind enough, when Alan Mendelson questioned my claim of getting checks and cheques for futures wagers, to verify old school practices. So I'm sure tagging my blog address in those back-and-forths provided some of the source of the readership.
I love the kewlJ. Where else can you find somebody who was offered a book contract (he turned it down, of course), who was offered guest spots on various gambling podcasts, and who was on the very edge of hangin' at the Blackjack Ball? It was only his spartan discipline and aversion to glory that prevented this famed soul from appearing in prime time with his own book.
LOL. This is a guy with 5000 more posts here in five fewer years than me, and his aversion to the limelight is evident. He is the kewlJ, back from the dead and loving it.

Red's exaggerated sense of self-importance cracks me up. This dude literally thinks there are people in Hong Kong and Brazil hanging on every word that this hillbilly tout writes.![]()

He's aging out, KJ: as we get older some harken back to "the good old days" when they were actively playing the game of life: I guess it must help stiffen their "resolve."
Post retirement we typically / mostly just sit on the side lines and dabble, hope, and wait for that final dirt nap: just the way it goes: oh sure, we travel and keep sort of busy but without employment one can lose focus and a sense of purpose.
Fortunately that ain't me: I enjoy not working more than when I was working: being a lawyer was actually a lot of work, especially early on.
Now I'm set financially and my health is good: I just keep my eyes on the horizon to see what develops.

What, Me Worry?
Interesting question, so I did some research to figure it out:
The word blog comes from weblog — originally an online log of thoughts, commentary, or links shared on the internet. By definition, a blog is about publishing content to be read by others, even if the “others” never actually show up.
So:
If no one is reading it:
Technically, it’s still a blog, because the content is published publicly on the internet in a blog format. But functionally, it starts to resemble a diary or journal, since the audience is just the author.
The key difference:
A diary or journal is private by design — it’s meant for the writer’s eyes. A blog, even if unread, is meant for potential readers. The act of publishing to the web, with the possibility of an audience, is what separates it from a personal notebook.
Philosophical angle:
You could say a blog that nobody reads is like a tree falling in the forest with nobody around. It is a blog, but without engagement, it doesn’t fully fulfill the “conversation” part of what blogging was meant to be.
Answer in a nutshell:
Yes, it’s still a blog — but without readers, it functions more like a public diary. The difference lies in intent (publishing vs. recording), not in audience size.
I run websites and they're hammered by AI scrapers constantly. I am not going to try and figure out what % are real but I would nit be surprised if it isn't single digit percents. Lol redietz not posting the link. Probably all for the best that I don't bother.
I lied and went to google. I've now tried multiple times. Whatever. You guys are all such losers even redietz. He's showing himself to be the time waste he is on levels he can't fathom. He could post the link to the stupid blog that no one gives a shit about. But nah that'd make too much sense and he's like to entertain the fantasy he is above it.
I'm still curious to read how he was pulled out of line .. or whatever he says. Rob redietz kewl and mdawg all looking to be important via the internet.
Weirdos

I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

This retard doesn't gamble.
OmG he literally says watch for it. Like people are revisiting his blog waiting for the entry to drop. A blog so dead google no longer picks it up.
One would think he'd mention it after he posted it. It shows the level of egomaniac we are dealing with. Lol. Too much
EVERYTHING Bob Deitz writes about whether here on this forum or in his public "diary/journal" are things that happened 35-40 years ago. Castaways closed 1987! Rio soft opening 1990! all his football contest win used for his touting new "clients" 1980s! People he name-drops that he played basketball with at lunch 50 years ago!
This person clearly is living in the past, which sadly is a telltale sign of Alzheimer's and dementia. Are we just supposed to ignore this?

Well, see, this is the issue with the kewlJ. He lies incessantly. I just reviewed the blog entries for 2023 and 2024, and literally none of the entries other than a review of OJ Simpson's legacy when he died, had anything to do with anything that wasn't current. In other words, zippo had to do with anything that didn't occur in 2024 or 2025. There weren't even any references (other than the OJ review) to non-current events.
I guess I suggest people check out the 2024 and 2025 blog entries for themselves.
But wait, let's review the 2023 entries while I'm at it. Okay, out of the 21 2023 entries, three have some reference to long-ago events. One is a reference to my short non-fiction being published in the 2022 book "Driving Southern," which is about coming-of-age stories involving first automobiles. The second is "LIV and Super Bowl III," which draws the parallels between the LIV tour hatred and the AFL/NFL rivalry. Eventually, and rather quickly, mergers ensued in both after one tried to paint the other as devil incarnate. The third was an homage to the LV Advisor's Jean Scott, who retired and whose husband had died. Jean has been writing about gambling in Las Vegas for 40 years or thereabouts.
So let's tally it up. The last three years, there were a total of three blog entries about anything not completely current out of 32 entries.
If my math is correct, and AP's can check me on this, this tally would seemingly put the lie to kewlj's partly capitalized statement in the post above that "EVERYTHING Bob Deitz (sic) writes about whether here on this forum or in his public 'diary/journal' are things that happened 35-40 years ago."
Perhaps the kewlJ's math is just bad. You know, 35 articles, three tangential references to past events, perhaps in his AP's math, that adds up to a capitalized "EVERYTHING."
Or maybe the dude just lies...and lies...and lies...and lies some more.
It's pretty funny. Now how is the kewlJ going to explain the slight disparity in his AP (Associated Press) reporting and reality? I suspect he will...wait for it...he'll LIE. LOL.
Have a good one, kewlJ. You are a piece of work.
And MDawg, please quote me on this. In fact, if you want to take an ad out in Gaming Today and quote me, I'll pay for it.
