Thread: Talked about Rio on my blog

Here's a form letter you can use:

    Dear [show host],

I would like to be interviewed on [show name] about [topic]. I am available [days of week] from [time] to [time]. What do you think?

[name of person who wants to be interviewed]

Not sure how that's "ducking" anything. I guess in the AP world, offering to be in the limelight is "ducking" the limelight.
Round and round the Dietz merry-go-round we go.

It has now been YEARS, not months. If Dietz really wanted to do one of these interviews he would have by now. Dan Druff, who expressed an interest in interviewing Deitz is a little scatterbrained. He tends to lose interest in things when he has other things going on. So Dietz had an out there. But if Dietz REALLY wanted to be interviewed by Druff, he would have contacted him repeatedly until Druff got around to it. He didn't do that.

In the case of Munchkin, we have mickeycrimm relaying that Munchkin said Dietz turned it down. Dietz says he didn't. I guess it is up to each of us to decide who is more credible mickeycrimm and Munchkin, or Bob Dietz "the Tout" (a line of work that has an adherently dishonest ring about it).

For me, it all changed when Axelwolf expressed a desire to be involved and question Dietz. Prior to that, I think Dietz he could bluff his way through a Dan Druff interview and Munchkin has a history of not really challenging his guests to much. BUT Axelwolf, a knowledgeable AP questioning Dietz wasn't going to go favorably.

So now we get the merry-go-round.

Anyway, travel day for me. Off to uhh well somewhere....
Dan Druff: "there's no question that MDawg has been an obnoxious braggart, and has rubbed a ton of people the wrong way. There's something missing from his stories. Either they're fabricated, grossly exaggerated, or largely incomplete".

Also not sure how publicly discussing topics with Chris Cuomo, Michael Shermer, and Bret Weinstein on X, using my real name, constitutes ducking limelight. Not sure how having lunches with Richard Munchkin in public places constitutes ducking limelight. Not sure how posting on Dancer's LV Advisor blog site using my real name constitutes ducking anything. Not sure how doing the occasional acting stint in independent films, with my real name in the credits, constitutes ducking anything.

But mickey lives in his own world . . . somewhere in Montana . . . driving solo in his vehicle on interstates and back roads. Hmmmm, that sure sounds like "ducking limelight." But who am I to judge?
So get on a show to be asked tough questions.
So how about I hire you as my manager, to get me on a show? Then I can get asked tough questions. Easy Peasie.

Get to work. Any show you put me on, I'm there.
And if I get a time and you make up a random reason you can't call in, are you going to still pay me in BTC?

Seriously though. You've been given so many chances. You always start dancing around about having other people there and/or not being able to do it in the phone. lol

While I do find you to be a truthful guy who probably doesn't particularly exagerate your accomplishments and so forth - I have 0 reason to believe you have made a sincere effort to be on any call-in show. All I recall seeing is your putting up roadblocks.

V, we travel a lot because I spent too much time away overseas in my life, and although my wife (and at times, the children) visited me around the world many times, most of it did not include sightseeing for them. Now, because we're both blessed with excellent health still, we're taking advantage of that by going everywhere and doing everything TOGETHER as much and for as long as we can. We also both gave up the ever-increasing hassles of flying in 2000. That's a big reason for the new car, which already has over 12,000 miles on it with its 2nd oil change coming up soon.

And yes, we do greatly enjoy the peace & contentment of being at home, whether in Az. or enjoying shooting my guns at our rural place in SD. We are fortunate to be able to get away from the miserable summer heat for basically 5 months every year. Snowbirds is what we're now called.

As for casino visiting--I certainly have always known what Im doing playing vp--whether legitimately or not--and I continue to beat the game handily at nearly every place I play at. In fact, in Black Hawk I just finished mugging Monarch (where I have a Royal Diamond card from Atlantis and was treated very respectfully in all aspects of our stay...psst kew: winners get showered too ) along with winning a little at Ameristar (where I'm nothing, but because of some minor play last summer at Cactus Pete's in Jackpot Nv., our rate was a simple $25/night "resort fee".)

We lost our beloved shih tzu Porsha @15 in Dec. and on this trip we finally found the one we want to follow what was really a perfect companion for us, in Wyoming. We can't pick her up until Oct.16 because she's only 3 weeks right now, but we'll be making that trip too.

    Time to go.

    Thanks for the response, Rob.

It always surprises me how different people can be.

My wife and I have little or no desire to travel for any extended distance or period of time, but then there are folks like you who seem to love it.

One thing we ALL have in common here is our love of gambling, and that ain't a bad thing...until it becomes one.

Carry on and I hope that highly-strung Caddy you bought meets your expectations: me I prefer to maintain, rebuild and pilot my ancient Volvo turbos, but as with anything: "to each his own."

Rob, I get the Penn Entertainment rooms for just the resort fee too. I have the PENN Play app and they give me free rooms at all of their 40 properties. Haven’t been to all of them yet though.

The PENN Play app and the CZR app are gold for getting free rooms for running not that much action. And between the two they have 90 casinos across the country.

Yes we're all different. But if you had a home in the Phoenix area and didn't have to spend summers there, you'd hit the road for the summer too.

Boy you've sure got me pegged, deetz. I've been hanging in some real backwater towns this year....like Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, St. Louis. Not near as cosmopolitan as Johnson City but what the hell.

But I have been busy teaching slot plays over on PFA:

    https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sh...loitable-Slots

And I've also been teaching a little bit about obtaining room comp

    https://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sh...ond-in-14-Days

And even giving a trip report or two:

Avoiding the limelight? Hell, I've got 2300 followers on X. How many follow your blog?

    That's great. Glad for you.

I do, however, fail to understand how making myself available to anyone, anytime (except during college football games), is "hiding out?" Explain it to me. LOL.

Tell you what. At some point, Dennison will interview me for a podcast, at least a few times. Instead of Dennison coming up with riveting topics, why don't you and the stellar "AP" crew here submit some questions?

Send them along to my email.

    redietz -

I guess maybe that has always been your opinion on EV that ultimately it is an "opinion" (contrary to what wikipedia and others say) but the last time you were able to express your view without some implied insults that it was others who didn't understand things. I said you moved the goalposts or something maybe but nah this is what you've always said. The real lesson to learn there would be to not believe someone just because they use the word EV without the "it is my opinion" disclaimer. However when smart sports bettors who are talking to known professional associates - you can assume that they all understand this.

Now just because some tout is saying/giving EV - should not be a reason to give them more credibility. We would agree there. Those are the lessons to be learned though. Not insulting APs.

The only other thing you're really wrong about is the idea of sharp vs weak lines. You went through a great deal of effort mocking that. Could you be more specific about what you see worthy of mockery? That is really the only thing I'd ever want to ask you. You're a football nerd. People around here are all different kind of gamblers which isn't your world and it shows. I have no good questions for you. It isn't like I doubt you don't know about football or most other stuff you say.

Even though I'm kinda a dick to you I'd like to see you give an interesting interview. I'd listen to you far far sooner than I'd listen to Singer. With Singer it'll all be bullshit. Kewl and Mdawg I'd listen to because they're both nuts. You however were around some interesting characters in interesting times. You talking about your daily routine and grind. I believe you or Mickey could write an autobiography of sorts that would be worth reading to a decent amount of folks.

Deetz, GWAE was the crux of the matter. You turned Munchkin down flat. But you never told us you turned him down. You let us think you were going to appear. After months went by I went to Munchkin for an explanation. He said you turned him down. You denied you turned him down. More months went by. i went to Munchkin a second time for an explanation. He again confirmed you turned him down.

You lied to us about it.
    Repeat.
You lied to us about it.

And when you once again deny you turned him down, which you will after reading this, you will once again be lying.

Druff is a different story. He has no set schedule for his radio show. He hasn’t been doing many lately. Seems to do a podcast on a whim. What you have to do is tell him to give you a date and time, even short notice, and you have to call in at that specific time. If he calls you and says ‘i’m doing a podcast tonight, call in.” You have to call in. Dont bullshit around with ‘I have to fly to Vegas to do it” or “It’ll take me a few days to get my ass wiped.” Just fucking call in that night.

    You can text Druff anytime.

    775-372-8355

Quit blaming others and take some initiative.
