That sucks if you were planning to use the points for something while not staying at the resort, just for little food purchases when you don't want to bother with a slip comp.

On a stay with a lot of food and beverage this may wipe out all your rewards points.
    Yup.

My host there told me they were not even allowed to comp anything until after you used all your rewards credits first.
On-going for many years. Visit the gift shop, before you visit your host.
Keep your friends close, keep your drinks closer...

Yeah this goes back over a decade. Occasionally you could get a host to make an exception to it in the past, but I think even that stopped.

There used to be a trick where you could use up your RCs booking a non-Caesars hotel at lolbad rates, then get your host to comp you stuff because you now have 0 RCs, and then at the end of the trip, you cancel the reservation and get all the RCs back. But that partnership ended because nobody used it, since it was a terrible deal otherwise.

To take it one step further form what jpinla said, it's possible you can buy something expensive in gift shop with RCs, don't open it, and then return it after the host comps off your bill, and get the RCs back. But make sure beforehand that they accept returns and can refund the RCs in the case you do. Make sure you specify that you will return the item untouched/unopened. For example, you can say, "I'm buying this bag for my girlfriend but I'm not sure if she will show up this trip, so if she doesn't can I return this and get my RCs back, provided it's still in new condition and untouched?"

Apparently Caesars has backed away from cutting off people with their four drinks. On August 1st, I know at least four people have had their drinks restored. The word is that Caesars was threatened with the class action and they retreated.

    Interesting.

I don't think a class action would be successful, as comps are never guaranteed. But I could see how this would be a bad look if it got publicity.

I think there weren't too many Seven Stars who lost the drinks, so it didn't cost them much to restore them. Killing most of the drink options for Diamond Plus and Diamond elite saved them a lot of money, as you no longer had a massive number of Diamond people loading up on expensive (for Caesars) prepackaged drinks every day.

Looks like Caesars entertainment has started to cut off people for their four drinks benefit as of December 1. I already know of three. I haven’t been able to check my card yet. Another report says diamond plus will be cut off completely as of 2026.

    I'm hearing about this, too.

Who was cut on 12/1? Some low playing Diamond Plus? Or anyone who was redeeming too many drinks and not playing enough?

Cutting people off at this point is hilarious given:

    1) It might be gone anyway by February 1

    2) These aren't costing Caesars much, now that they've done away with prepackaged drinks for all Diamond levels

7 Stars here and was told by the bartender that we know really well that I did not have drink tix for the day. I am a local that went to Caesars Palace. I went to the Rewards Center there and they told me I needed to go see a host so I emailed the rep that I have and she was going to find out for me still waiting on the response as well.

Thanks for the update, and welcome to the forum.

Can you tell me about your play? You're 7 Stars, but how many tier credits did you earn in 2025? Did you use a lot of multipliers to get there? What games did you play most often to earn your tiers?

I achieved 7 Stars in 2022 and have been there since. I will not reach it this year I am at only 60k. I would say this year my tier score has been achieved from less than 50% of sports and mainly video poker (.25-$1) and some penny slots. I am not a huge player casino-wise but sports I will bet a significant amount. My limits on the sports app were cut late February and I thought I was done once that occurred. The locals offers I have received have also been cut for the month of January as well. We only average 4-5 visits per month so we are not really taking advantage of the 4 free drinks either. My wife is a much bigger player and she plays on my card as well so that is a great help but we do not go that often and she is only Diamond Plus. We do not actively seek out the tier multiplier days either. The only thing I can see of them being pissed at could be me taking advantage of the 7 Star offers such as the retreats and such but other than that we go to Reno 2-3x a year and Laughlin 1-2x a year.

They don't care about you taking advantage of the 7* benefits.

However, that probably figured in to your MDV (marketing daily value) calculations, which were already on the low side because you are betting sports, and sportsbetting is seen as a too-low-house-edge way to earn tier credits for their taste. Plus your overall theoretical loss isn't that high.

So basically your MDV and overall theoretical loss are low, and the computer determined it's not high enough to warrant continue offering the drinks.
