The one and only time I am aware of A.Wolf making an offer, he did not perform. His M.O. is to make an offer, and
then start asking clarifying questions, and then back out. Typical Welsher.
He made an unconditional offer to buy Wizard's watch. Later, he qualified this by saying that he'd buy it "only if it was a good deal."
Wizard then let him out of the offer.
Wolf is a known Welsher. He offered to buy Wizard's watch sight unseen, not caring what brand it was, then without knowing anything more, later backed off by saying he would buy it only, "if it's a good deal."
Notice how even when he offers to buy something sight unseen he tosses out a question - "what's the value of the watch?" so his mind is always thinking about whether or not he is even going to keep his word, the unseemly thought process of a welsher.
After qualifying it with the "only if it's a good deal," he backed out entirely when he found out that I had offered less than he thought for the same watch.
He is known for shooting his mouth off, then later backing down or creating some sort of qualifier. Not really someone who cares about his word or is in control of his mouth, he's all over the place.
