GMAFB, what a clusterfuck! KewlJ posted about 30 years of data from Mike Shackleford. Actually Mike sold Wizardofodds to LCB Network. The site now throws up random statistics to generate traffic while selling ads for sportsbooks. The data come from some obscure Austrialian sports betting site. Those data list over 5,000 games over less than 20 years, while the tabulation posted includes only 3,000 games. The ROI of 2.57% is not accurate at -110. The spreadsheet lists open, close, maximum and minimum pointspreads and odds. Which ones were used? There was home-dog, away-dog, home-favorite, away favorite, home-pick, and away-pick in addition to Over and Under. Only 1 of these 8 angles was positive, but not statistically significant. I would happily bet against this angle out of sample, as do CRIS and Pinnacle.
Meanwhile, RDietz does not even track his own record and just makes vague claims. He paid to be tracked by a tout pamphlet that was so bad that even RDietz did not save a copy for his scrapbook. Or maybe his mom threw it out along with his Nolan Ryan rookie card.
