This shithole of an industry of wannabe AP's and degenerates just keeps getting worse. With slots and sports now, it's becoming even more unbearable. It does a massive disservice to the ones actually out there making a living at it. They get all of their dopamine from telling lies and living a fake life. Instead of putting in the work to actually be a legitimate pro, they find it much easier to live a lie. More-so a problem in society in general with social media especially. It's like I'll go on youtube and it's one after another. I go on the forums, it's one after another. I go on discord, it's one after another. Is there literally any place with legitimate AP's that don't claim they went to 1 million in 2 years, make millions every year, or 100+ million for their career. They never have a successful gaming history, no grind story, and just an obsession to spend money at all costs. The little things that these frauds dont realize is the little tidbits of how little discipline they have in every day life and what got them to this alleged point of a lot of money or what they currently invest in, or just how they view money. They'll tell stories thinking it enhances their image, but actually exposes the nuts and bolts of who they are. They'll tell stories about their speculative investments, spend beyond their means, unstable and loose with their money, etc etc. One story after another that shows how little discipline they have. They don't realize that legitimate AP's or anyone that has actually made a lot of money and/or has a lot of money, or has actually taken a little bit of money to a decent net worth, discipline is consistent throughout their whole life. Discipline isn't just siloed whenever you want it to be. It's consistent throughout. Maybe not for a fraud telling a story, but for legitimate players and businessman, it is. It's either you're disciplined or not.
One of the common scams in this industry is talking about 'edge' and the size of your edge. I mean, I figured out a play recently where I can get a 10-15% edge betting sports that I see no one else doing, but the problem is you can't get the money down to make it a decent worthwhile EV pursuit and it's full of variance and a long n0. People always love to talk about their edge in this industry and try to ridicule counting cards, but never talk about the other details until they reel you in. You never hear them talk about how volatile the play is and/or how much money you can get down or how long you can get away with it. This is where the professional con artists prey. After being around AP for a decade, I started to realize, other than small non-lasting opportunities that come and go that you need to pounce on, everything other than card counting has been a major distraction. It all sounds so wonderful to a noobie, it all makes so much sense, until the rug gets pulled under you for whatever setup you signed up for. I wonder if there has ever been someone who came to vegas like me and didn't fall for any of it, let alone coming here and doing it lone wolf style never having a teammate and still 5x'ing their net worth without a job in 8 years. There was a small delivery job during the casino shutdowns during covid where I delivered postmates for 3 months, but it was more to keep money flowing in, whereas everyone on discord sat on their ass degen'ing on pokerbros or maybe even colluding.
Just watch this interview of this wannabe sports guy that is more than likely a massive fraud. He fooled a major channel to interview him, which is hilarious. Things like this is just all over youtube. Look up these blackjack streamers like John Cerasani. These are all massive likely frauds. The thing about frauds is they prey on people that don't know any better such as people without experience, until they run into people actually out there playing
Honestly fuck all of you. Imagine going to bed every night living a lie. Imagine having kids and telling them to be a good person, when you're a piece of shit. The highlight of your lives is literally going on these forums, discords, and youtube platforms being someone you're not and showing pictures of jackpots or talking about a big win. Here's another little tidbit to spot a fraud. APs talk about their losses. Degenerates talk about their wins. Real basic tidbit, but frauds never realize any of these little things that expose them. Literally just an industry full of wannabes, skimmers, scammers, and just trash impulsive people. When I first got into this, I was like WOW, other people that also think like me and can beat the casino. It didn't take me very long to realize finding someone like me in this pool of trash, is like finding a needle in a haystack. You're much more likely to find people who claim they make all this money, but live like a homeless person. I'm one of the cheapest people on planet earth, but as soon as I started making some money and had a decent sized bankroll for what I was doing, I was out of the conditions I was living in, plain and simple. Even the cheapest people, don't compromise on their living conditions. At first they do, to build up a bankroll, but as soon as they can get out with enough margin of safety, they are out. You'll never see a fraud with a grind story and how they lived in terrible conditions or grinded up a bankroll. It's all consistent with their stories of how they spend money, where again as I said before, they constantly expose themselves without even knowing. The one thing that generally exposes frauds is how and where they live. You can lie to everyone, but not your landlord.
Everyone talks a big game, but I can guarantee you the top APs out there who aren't doing anything shady are clearing somewhere between 100-150k in EV per YEAR. Don't talk to me about these degenerate poker players either who lucked out on big tournament wins and get all over TV and have backers, etc etc. and then claim they're a 'pro'. I would love to see the logs of all of these so called cash game 'crushers'. The ones who might be mildly good at it have to pick their spots and hunt garbage players, but in those games, you just won't get the action. In big games, your edge is ridiculously razor thin, unless you can somehow organize 'home games' with degenerate millionaires, but good luck making that feasible long term. Then you'll see ESPN talk about their tournament winnings, but not their losses. Poker is another whole realm of degenerate trash, don't even get me started on that. All of these guys made so much money, but have to 'coach' people or run a youtube channel. Give me a break. Imagine coaching people, which is literally your competition. Sounds like you suck. Poker coaches is literally another 'scam', but is seen as moral. Here, let me coach you, because I obviously can't make money, maybe you can. Why in the hell am I coaching my competition other than me being a losing player?
