Website CLAIMS it CANCELS unwanted subscription, tries to charge card instead! :(

Betterfittoo KEEPS charging my PayPal account despite me not even KNOWING what Betterfittoo even is! I reported the unauthorized charge last month to my PayPal Account and got it reversed, but Betterfittoo is to this day STILL charging my PayPal account!

I found a Website that CLAIMS it cancels Betterfittoo subscriptions and I TRIED to cancel the Betterfittoo subscription.... And that Website TRIED TO CHARGE me for a Betterfittoo Subscription instead despite claiming that it CANCELS Betterfittoo subscriptions! WTF?


I reported this to my PayPal account and asked them to block all Betterfittoo subscriptions as I do not know what Betterfittoo is and when I tried to cancel the Betterfittoo subscriptions they tried to charge me for a Betterfittoo Subscription instead despite claiming that they cancel Betterfittoo subscriptions.

Bad business practices like these are common. There is an app called rocket money iirc which claims to handle all these perks. I've never used it but am trapped into a lot of things myself and need to just pull the plug on so many things.

You shouldn’t use paypal in the first place.

Druff had a big story awhile back about how they screw people out of their money, I don’t use them to begin with but I never will now.

Rocket Money app has been great for getting all my BS subscriptions canceled.

I get it free though due to another account I have, I think they might charge a fee normally but you’d have to look into it might be free for everyone, don’t recall.

Of course its a common name duh lol.

But only about .55% of the US population has that last name.

So congratulations, you just eliminated 99.45% of the population from potentially being you if someone’s trying to track you down.

Now you post about the area you live, where you work, your race & sex, your first name, and a lot of other personal details and in todays information age you may as well just post your address, DOB, & social security number too.

Whoops. Didn't know my real name would show up when I linked the screenshot to the shady Website in question. Thank you for the warning but I had fallen asleep VERY shortly after linking the shady Website in question and by the time I woke up, the editing window had long passed. Thank God that both of my names are highly common or this could have been extremely bad.

Oh my God! I JUST found out that the "Cancel subscriptions," tried to charge my PayPal Account $144! My PayPal alert that I JUST saw about a minute ago said, "Let's give it another go. Add money to your balance and retry your PayPal Debit purchase of $144 USD at Cancel Subscriptions."

I merely thought the shady Website in question just tried to charge me the amount of the Betterfittoo subscription which is way less than $144. (At first right after I tried to cancel the Betterfittoo subscription I got an alert saying a PayPal transaction has been declined)but no, this lying and shady Website claims they cancel Betterfittoo subscriptions and instead tries to charge $144 when they claim they cancel Betterfittoo subscriptions.

I didn't subscribe to Betterfittoo. I suddenly saw an alert stating that I was charged for a Betterfittoo Subscription and I had never even heard of Betterfittoo let alone subscribe to it and I reported this to PayPal and PayPal gave me back the unauthorized charge.

Hmm. Other Posters have also said that Betterfittoo charged their credit and debit cards and they have no idea what Betterfittoo is. Maybe the FBI should be alerted like you suggested.

And, Betterfittoo JUST took another $4.99 from me. I needed that $4.99 for something else and Betterfittoo took it! Fuck Betterfittoo! I tried to report the latest $4.99 Betterfittoo charge to PayPal but PayPal says it can't be reported yet as it's pending.

I looked up the app & they do meal & fitness plans so worst case scenario if you can’t get it canceled maybe just go ahead & take advantage of their meal & fitness plans to get more healthy if they are going to charge you anyway
