Thread: YouTube Comments you love? :) Some spoilers ahead!

  1. #1
Here is a thread for talking about YouTube Comments you love! YouTube Comments are the soul of Youtube and I guess the videos are the heart.

    Jill's Reveal, Scream 4.

"There are 30 dislikes. Well, 30 people tried to kill their cousin for fame!" It's funny in context.

    Set It Off.

"I'm surprised that Luther stole the $300,000 and not one of the 4 Female Bank Robbers! I would have expected one of the ladies too have taken ALL of the loot and skipped town with it! I need true friends who wouldn't run off with all of the money!"

Go West. We Close Our Eyes.

"200 people don't have tigers in the dark. Referring to dislikes!

"He needs a shower(Referring to the lead singer who is very sweaty in the music video)

Just A Girl by No Doubt.

"Vampires have aged more than Gwen Stefani!" Referring to Gwen Stefani looking only about 10 years older today despite JAG video being released like 23 years ago!

Welcome To The Jungle by Guns N Roses.

"600 people got lost in the Jungle " Referring to 600 Dislikes at the time. Later on, a replier said,"Now, 1,000 people got lost in the Jungle."

Alyssa Jackson Fakes Cancer For Sympathy and Money.

"She should be sentenced to Cancer with no Parole!" I was shocked that no one at the time replied to a witty comment and I told her that I was shocked no one replied and told her it was a good comment.

I watch a lot of YouTube but always ignore the comments.

Opinions are like assholes: we all have one and they all stink.

    Funny

Reminds me a little of when they were making Airplane they couldn’t get Robert Stack to deliver the lines in the deadpan way they wanted him to so they brought in comedian & impressionist Rich Little to do his Robert Stack impersonation.

After seeing a professional impressionist imitate himself, he was finally able to get how to play himself correctly.

In a YouTube comment section for Scream 4 where Jill, Sidney's Cousin reveals herself to be a Ghost face Killer jealous and resentful of Sidney's fame and tries to kill Sidney, there were 30 dislikes. A Poster wrote,"30 people tried to kill their cousin for fame!" LMAO!

I liked both the title on this one and the comment that said “Listening to this guy at 2x is like listening to the guy out in front of the gas station.”

Ironically the video itself was just so so.

The bots are proliferating social media pretending to be real humans and much of our interactions online are very much fake in terms of how the real public is acting. These bots could easily be made to promote certain beliefs and encourage comment threads to be perceived as genuine but they could be 95% sure all bots interactions. If you can predict what most commenters would comment and it's not the obvious overwhelming the comments, then it could be only bot manipulation. Nowhere amongst so-called "relevant comments" are obvious reactions. Sounds like the battle on reality is lost now by the immense fake news.

Speaking of bots, I have seen completely normal looking comments being accused of being written by bots. I saw a video about someone being scammed out of big money, something like $20,000. A completely normal looking comment said something like,"I also fell for this scam. The scammer stole $50,000 from me and my bank refused to reimburse me, putting the blame on me for falling for the scam.." Posters responded something like,"Go away bot. " That comment didn't seem like a bot made it. It's 100 percent believable that a human got $50,000 stolen from them and the bank refused to reimburse them blaming them for falling for the scam. Happens to a LOT of people.

As merely human beings, it's hard to predict what is real. If you make some comment today about reality as you know it, there could be every seemingly real person attacking saying you're retarded, just as was the way in the movie Idiocracy.

Honestly, I’ve noticed the same thing. It feels like people on the internet have gotten so paranoid about bots that they’ll label anything as automated if it doesn’t match their personal idea of how a “real person” should talk. I’ve seen totally sincere comments where someone shares a painful experience—losing money, getting scammed, dealing with banks stonewalling them—and the immediate knee-jerk reaction is, “bot detected.”

But the thing is, stories like that are absolutely believable. People lose tens of thousands of dollars to scams every single day, and banks refusing to reimburse victims is basically standard practice now. So when someone says they got hit for $50,000 and the bank told them it was their fault? That’s not bot behavior—that’s just reality. The internet seems to forget that not everyone writes in memes or sarcasm 24/7. Sometimes people are just telling the truth, and they get dogpiled because everyone’s convinced only bots speak plainly anymore

It was a full spectrum of strange, mean people for me today. Maybe I could have gotten hit with the propagandists from many factions at the same time. I dont want to post online anymore now because of all the psychos I experienced today and yes, most were ignorant of a lot of ways and made no sense. I may have been personally attacked by stalking of me, it's not to be unexpected as it does happen. In my last year I have been followed illegally but I couldnt prove it by the time things were cooled down. It didnt make any sense how weird it was to think me shopping at a mall and eating there was worthy of being spied on, honestly you never know this person may have wanted to hurt me very physically as their motive to see me. I figured they didn't want me knowing I knew they were following me they didn't chase at least because they were aware I noticed them which scared them off. I may have been hunted but them ruining their anonymity in the chase tested their courage. I have no idea what really had happened or if it was just a mistake identity or witnessing an overdose and fleeing from it. I haven't had similar experiences in a bit knock on wood.
