Rob has discussed that Bob Dancer was part of the consulting firm. He never told me anything about asking them for a job. He never said anything about talking to Dancer about being friends publicly. First time I ever saw anything about this.
That's funny--me asking THEM for a job or to have a relationship. Not even a good effort by mickey. As far as being "friends" if either or both of them ever approached me or wanted to approach me about being more communicative about issues of any kind, I'd never reject giving it a try.

I heard about this years ago from multiple sources, but since it was technically hearsay, I figured it was up to Compton, Dancer, or Rob to report it. Otherwise it's just gossip.
What I heard jibes with what slob said. So it's he said/he said between Dancer and Rob. You pick who is telling the truth. Would you rather be dropped in acid or drawn and quartered? Your choice.
To be honest, the versions I heard had Rob giving a wink/wink to Dancer and Compton regarding his "special plays" and admitting it was all just window dressing. So that would support Alan's comments that "it's all an act" more or less.

I don't go on VP FREE and I am not about to start. Can someone copy and paste the comments here so I can see what this is about?
I'm a member of vpfree and nothing's come thru on this nonsense.
Red I've never talked or written to/with those guys about my special plays. I've offered to train Dancer on my strategy and he declined. Didn't have the dough required.
"Later, Frank decided to meet privately with Rob. It was
cordial enough and books were signed and exchanged, but Frank came away quite
shaken. He has studied mental illness and was actually quite concerned that Rob
was actually walking around and not hospitalized. Frank was very glad that I
hadn’t let Rob on our show."
Wasn't that the same thought here?
To me that just proves how much Dancer lies. A guy who abuses a sick wife, fakes military service and then brags about it in an article, steals meals from restaurants and then boasts about how it was an "advantage play", and now lies about his need to keep working to get the cash to keep his gambling habit going.
So glad mickey got me into Dancer's head again. And while he's still caught up in his childless, thrown-out-of-the-house, unable-to-ever-retire life in LV, I calmly watch the show from here.
When did he die and where was it announced?
Rob lies to you. Rob lies to Compton. If his lips are moving or his fingers tickling the keyboard he is lying. It is well known by all that Rob created sock puppets in the gambing forums. Someone told me Alan caught him twice using sockpuppets here. Creating a sockpuppet is a deliberate premeditated attempt to decieve. Rob lies so routinely that he thinks everyone else must be lying too.
More Singer lies. Dancer has never claimed to be a veteran. His wife, Bonnie, was the widow of a vetetan She made an offhand comment to strangers that her husband was a veteran. They took it to mean it was Bob. What in the hell is this overpowering obsession Rob has with people's private lives? It's eerie and weird.
Mickey in your love rant you forgot to lie about how Dancer wasn't thrown out of his house because his gambling addiction took precedence over his wedding vows, and how he never wrote about stealing meals from a restaurant.
And it's hard when you're arguing with a high school dropout who can't read Dancer's column correctly. He chose to go along with the ruse about him being a military AF officer on some cruise, just so he could get some REAL respect from true veterans and those who appreciate military service.
He's been a creep all his life. What else could anyone expect from a person who writes a perverted book like "Sex, Lies, & Video Poker"?
As I've said, it's the good thing he's been a gambling addict who's too selfish and broke to have had children all his life. Imagine how they'd have turned out!
This thread is the second time Rob has mentioned Frank Kneeland's "death." I can't find anything on the Web that this is true and in December Frank posted on Facebook which was months after the first time Rob wrote about "death."
