No more mail...no more comps...no more account access...basically treated like a deadbeat and told to get lost.
I've never heard of this happening at CET. Not in the past 5 years.

I am not engaging in any kind of trickery or loopholes.

I am just utilizing the program better than most others, staying fully within the rules.

I'm also not going to extremes with abusing the "unlimited". For example, I have made just one trip (3 nights) to a CET property in the past 3 months.

I know this is a minority view, but I think anyone who gets no-mailed is to be commended for whacking the casinos involved. CET is just one company, and they are going to be disassembled over time. If they hate you, so what? It's a mark of honor and accomplishment to have them cringe when you walk in the door. There are other companies, other casinos, and management changes all the time.

Dancer has gotten no-mailed by a few casinos. Some people get severely limited by sports books -- rarely banned but given limits so ridiculous it's the same as banning. I know one guy who, after nailing some futures offshore, was limited to $1.20 on Sergio Garcia to win a golf tournament. No worries. There's always a way around it.

Dan do you think you will get free rooms for the 2017 WSOP?

  4. #124
    I'm not no-mailed. I'm just no-offered at the moment.

No-mailed means you are shut out permanently from getting mailed offers, which isn't my situation.

Yes, I think I will have my free rooms in 2017, but I need to earn it again.

What's the difference? Unfortunately you're not getting anything. Temporarily or for the next six months, it's all the same thing.

What do you think was the tipping point that caused this?

It's curious that you wrote "but I need to earn it again." How do you earn the free rooms? With play, right? Does that mean you were overcomped or underplayed? Do you see we are back at square one in a game of semantics and euphemisms?

Bottom line is I hope you get your free rooms for the WSOP.

It's unbelievable how dense some people are. Whatever dan has said, is 100% true. Let me explain. I made 7 stars last year with losses less than 10000$. In these last 2 years I have recouped all that losses plus some more. U ask how, as a 7 star I book rooms every weekend for 4 nights here in ac. For the last 2 years. I quit my job after becoming 7 stars and depend entirely on Cet for food and lodging. Yes, we eat great food daily for free here in ac diamond lounges day in and day out. I have propably drank more than 10000$ in alcohol alone. Instead of living in a rat hole in NYC, I live lavishly in suites for 4 nights in ac. I collect their cheap and expensive gifts everytime without fail. Great gifts for friends. I used to get about 400$ a week in free play which I run thru once and leave. I attend all thier parties and have won free play at those. I play free slot tournaments and have won those. Now because I am so overcomped, I have been for the last few months on no mail list and my host doesn't even return my calls. I have less than 18000 tier points this year. I have milked them to the last penny, more so than dan can imagine. I have sold rooms and taken dozens of friends to ac to enjoy free food, concerts, top shelf alcohol and many other perks like free spa. If u know what to do, Cet 7 stars is ripe for abusing. Long live Cet

Lucky... so you live lavishly for four nights. What about the other three nights during the week? And now that you are "overcomped" what happens to the free rooms and the free play and the free gifts that you depended on to the point that you quit your job?

Having been a gambler most of my life, it’s occasionally getting to read posts like this that make following some gambling forums worth the time. Of course, being retired free time is plentiful.

If gambling forums had a rule that any questionable gambling claims had to be verified within a weeks time or get banned, do you think their would be any members left? Imagine how sad these sites would be constantly reading about everyone's looses.

Since proving your AP gambling success would destroy your future, where would the winning AP's go?

Should have about $5k to do $50k coin in when playing single line $5 denom. That's a relatively safe amount, although you can certainly run worse than 10%, but not particularly likely. On $1 5-play, I'm not really sure what's the lowest amount to bring. I'd just say f*** it and bring $10k. Why bring less money, anyway?

If it costs $2300 to earn 7*, and you get $400 in FP, you're at a $1,900 loss. You also get $500 in food coupons, let's say they're worth half that, so now you're at a $1,650 loss. I don't know how long the WSOP goes on for, how much those rooms are worth during that time (especially at Rio), but I'd have to imagine they're worth quite a bit. Not sure how much Dan uses rooms and other mandatory comps by 7*, but if you don't think you can get $1600+ of value out of the rooms, food, etc., you've got to be out of your damn mind.

Hell, I've gotten at least $1k of value from using my 7* card at non-CET properties. I know people who have gotten many 10's of thousands of value with a 7* card at non-CET properties, albeit indirectly.

I live right here in Atlantic City, I moved from NYC, where I was paying a lot of money for rent for a rat hole. I quit my job because I make the same amount of money here in ac by gambling and comp hustling. I rent a room here with my poker friends where I spend my other 3 nights.trust me, I milk them everyday, ah the food itself is worth thousands. Last night we had barbecue ribs, oriental rice, general tso chicken, a pizza washed by a orange juice and a cold bud. Followed by fruits and bread pudding. I would say that diamond members here in ac eat better food than 90% of Americans eat every day.

I have sold rooms often, Friday and Saturday hot days, bringing me Atleast 3000 in cold cash, summer time, here in ac rooms are hard to get on the weekends, most of the weekly cheap gifts I give to friends while I sell the more expensive 7 star ones netting me about 600$ so far, I am getting a steamer this weekend, I ll sell it for $80 if anyone wants it. U get my point right. I am typing this from my luxurious suite here in ac, once again I repeat, if u r in Atlantic City or close by and u want advantage, become 7 stars and eat and stay for free for 2 years. Great for retired or people who have time. If u r working and can't milk them, then no need to become 7 stars because u will not recoup ur losses solely through benefits. Alan my free rooms will end January 31, 2017 when I lose my 7 star status.

After Jan 31, 2017 I will return to New York and continue my mundane life again, advantages of being single and young.

K, I have never told this to anyone before but this is very important and it can benefit comp hustlers, as a 7 star I get one companion card right, wrong I got 2 here in Atlantic City, because the 3 caesers properties here do not have a central system showing I have a companion card at the other casino, oh by the way I sold both my companion card for quite a bit of money, this is just the tip of the iceberg with regards to all the advantages I have taken. In fact, I have become a better at gaming 7 stars than dan himself, who I consider as my teacher. Dan feel free to message me if u want to learn some other tricks, they can add more value to ur 7 star comps.

Has anyone managed becoming Seven Stars at minimal risk in the Reno/Tahoe area? My understanding is that they have decent vp there.

RS__ congratulations on becoming 7 Stars. How did you do it and at what cost? Being a dealer in Vegas do you have any tips?

A pizza? That must have been at Harrah's Diamond Club....nobody from NYC would eat the pizza at Caesar's or Bally's.

    A couple of questions...

Can't your poker buddies get free rooms during the week...why/where are you renting?

How do you know that you are no-mailed?...where do you get your mail?

He mentioned he shares an apartment in Atlantic City on the other three nights he's not living the dream at the casino. Doesn't sound like a dream life to me, but he is young....

Thanks....although I've been 7* for something like 2 years now. Not sure what it cost me. But I played video poker. I don't have any tips, other than quit holding 3 to a RF over high pair in BP. I'm not a dealer anymore, btw.

I wonder what your experience has been about getting tier points for table play? Do you have any insight into the true ratings for table play?
