Yeah that first kind of free play, the "mailer freeplay" is why I got into machine play at all, after I moved to Vegas. Just relatively small amounts of coin-in generated disproportionally advantageous mailer freeplay offers from the local type casinos that were literally competing for the local market. It was really good for a few years, but now almost all have tightened up some, some tightened up a lot.
