I have seen people play the way eddie suggests. It's definitely not for me and I never saw any of them win. I would never risk a lot to make a little. It's like the bridge jumpers at the track. In fact the track was all abuzz because the other day a guy came in with $136,000 cash and made a show bet. He did win. I'll let all you math guys figure out how many in a row he has to win if he has one loss. Hint--you win ten cents on the dollar.
And Dan--Alan never was the one that proposed a bet. He simply wanted someone to track his throws. Coach and Axel turned it into a bet.

If even half of that was true, it explains a lot. Frankly, it explains just about everything.
Slap made a post almost 4 months ago asking if anyone had seen Alan gambling in Vegas, what he was playing and how much money he had in front of him or in a machine. Odd that Slap has been a member here for 8 years but has made only 10 posts.
Druff, let us know when you receive redietz’ credit score.
Things are heating up thanks to Slapinfunk. Mendelson soiling himself once again.
Whether most of this is true or not, the possibility is certainly sobering.
I remember a striking memory from my first football season in Las Vegas, back in the early 80's. I had sat for a full Sunday next to a well-dressed guy at the Stardust. By the end of the first round of games, he was begging me for ten dollars to play a parlay card and his hands were shaking. Looked as if he'd done a speedball; don't think he had. Anyway, it was quite a caveat for me, in my early 20's.
The word "recreational" in front of the word "gambling" does not make it okay or easy or not dangerous. It's like "recreational" drug use.
Best book I've encountered in 40 years of gambling: "Addiction by Design" by anthropologist Natasha Schull.

I don't want to get in between any issues between you and your dad.
When I took over this forum, Alan was about to shut it down permanently.
If you would like the money for the cost of the vBulletin license, I will be glad to send it to you.
Check out my poker forum, and weekly internet radio show at http://pokerfraudalert.com
LOL.....this is starting to get good. What a disgrace and the degeneracy coming into the light is going to make this place quite lively. This truly explains alot.
I've only ever bet like that at the beginning of some of the casino sponsored craps tournaments
I only suggested it to Alan because he says he has a high SRR.
This just seems contradictory to me.
At first you say you win betting the Small/Tall/All when you need to hit at least 5 numbers (including a 2, 12 or both) but then you sound like it's difficult to roll them when you are betting the Field.![]()
MendleButt is Sore today. That is pretty ugly abusing his own Son like that. I expect the same from Welfare Rob and the rest of them. This is very common in the world of AP/Gambling anyway. Nothing new. Don't believe all the Forum BS that preaches how easy it is and how all these AP's are making 6 figures. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have been and am always involved in it for over 20 years now. The whole thing with WoN is how things really are and now MendleBread shows us his true colors.
My favorite is how all these players talk this and that on the forums but none of them live in Vegas and if they have lived in Vegas they had to move away in the end. This town isn't easy and certainly isn't for Honest Abes. Meanwhile I just keep chugging along eating for free and getting paid to play.
I was talking to a player who has been in town about 50 years now and he runs his own team sorta. Not exactly a Team but he has a stable of players to help him on things when he needs it. Anyways... he was having some problems with a few of them recently and he was telling me how they are all idiots and always broke. Of course I already know that but he was venting a bit and I found it funny. He always jokes that if they weren't broke they wouldn't be involved with him because they would be doing what he is doing on their own. This is the truth. 99% of the players are broke and that might be a low ball estimate.

I agree that Alan should not be expected to support his adult children.
However, I would like to know Alan if you really owe your son money.
If you do, why are you gambling and not paying him?
Yes this is my first post after registering 5 years ago. That's how bad I want to know the answer here.
WTF is wrong with you, SLaPINFuNK?
I cannot recall seeing a more inappropriate post on a message board, and I've posted on em for over twenty years.
Whether or not your claim is true it is private, family business and as such should remain private.
One can only assume you are currently either feuding with alan, or setting him up for an intervention, but you went way, way too far outing him as you did.
I feel sorry for alan, having to deal with a back stabber such as you.
Et tu Brute?
What, Me Worry?
Eddie wrote "At first you say you win betting the Small/Tall/All when you need to hit at least 5 numbers (including a 2, 12 or both) but then you sound like it's difficult to roll them when you are betting the Field."
If it were easy to roll 2s and 12s players would be hitting the Bonus bets all the time.
Consider the numbers in the field:
2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 12
Four of those numbers are horn numbers and are considered sucker bets or crazy crapper bets. If you made them as horn bets the 2 and 12 would pay 30 but on the field they pay 2 or 3.
On the horn the 3 and 11 pay 15, but on the horn they pay even.
Even the 4 and 10 pay even money on the field but if placed would pay almost double.
Do you still want to bet the field?
