If anyone doesn't believe arci's research or kewlJ's information, the appropriate response is to shell out the money for a private investigator's report. It's not going to cost more than a thousand dollars for basics, and it would save thousands of posts in the long run. The Argentino myth would be settled.
Then there would be "confirmed facts," as blackhole says. Or, wait, would blackhole accept a private investigator's report as "confirmed facts?" Interesting question. Would a report like that, coming from me, for example, be accepted if I refuse to post it, but am willing to share it privately with others? Would that work as "confirmed facts?" Or would blackhole only accept a private investigator's report assembled by someone he hired? Would he be willing to privately share that information with others regardless of what he finds? Would he post it, as he suggests others do? It would certainly be in the public interest, he would be doing a good thing - either protecting the public from nonsense or defending Argentino's reputation. And it would be a better use of money, APs would certainly argue, that just pissing it away to a casino (no insult intended; as far as I'm concerned, people can piss money wherever they want).
These seem like logical, reasonable questions to me. Let's avoid some "drivel responses," and see what the answers might be. And let's assume, for now, that I don't have a private investigator's report regarding Argentino. Let's also assume that Argentino's posting of the inside of a modest home, some modest cars in a cramped garage, and decade's old CB equipment were not attempts at being impressive, but simply his way of sharing details of his life.
Personally, I've never understood the importance of debunking Argentino's alleged millionaire lifestyle. Yes, it would establish him as a liar, but his video poker system is not mathematically viable, so who cares?
P.S. It's great that Argentino considers himself a big winner in "the game of life." Kudos on that all around. Some people might think that pushing a mathematically unviable system as a way to win at video poker disqualifies one as a big winner in "the game of life," but what do priests, ministers, and people who then use that system know? They're not winners in the "game of life," so screw them. I'd lump priests and ministers right in with APs "grinding away" as losers who don't understand how to win at life. Blackhole, you on board with that?
P.S.S. There is, however, a potential problem. Blackhole may read a private investigator's report and flip his stance and just lump Argentino in with APs as an example of why people cannot win. So before anyone invests any money in a private investigator's report, maybe I should pin blackhole down on the matter of his accepting that report as evidence that some APs here may be telling the truth in general. Otherwise, he's just pulling a coach belly "gotcha." I can see it now -- debunking Argentino's personal history turns into a rationale for debunking APs.
