Rob, one of the biggest lies of all is giving Trump credit for economic recovery. The two best presidents in my lifetime for the economy were Clinton and Obama. Clinton worked with both d's and r's and produced a surplus during his time as president. After King George the second lied to us about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, led by Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld, we spent so much money on a war in the middle east that we are still spending on it even today. Nobody other than the 30 percent that staunchly support the republican party wanted this war and we ran up such a debt that it just about wrecked the economy.

When Obama came along he was faced with an economy where several big banks had failed and several more were on the verge of collapse which would have resulted in the collapse of our American way of life. I remember getting some incredible buys in both stocks and bonds and CD's during this time. So Rob, I have owned and continue to own stocks and bonds most likely more than you do. Anyway, Obama was put in a situation that he had to employ deficit spending to get our country out of the mess it was in. Under Obama's leadership, our economy improved greatly, unemployment rates decreased, and by the time Obama left office the economic meltdown was behind us.

So giving Donald J Trump credit for the economy is not even close to being true. All he has done has been moving the redistribution of wealth away from those that actually need it to the top half of one percent that don't need it. The same line of BS the republicans used before AKA trickle down economics. We were misled by DJT and his economic team into believing that by giving the wealthy tax cuts that the end result would be more revenues to pay back excess spending. Unfortunately, in the 2 and a half years since DJT took over our deficits have now reached record levels. We are now at a point that another economic recession is almost a certainty.
