Oh sorry, I didn't see where Redietz posted that, my bad. Hawaii is another one that amazes me. A little different than Montana in that they are a Div 1 school, but they are a smaller school in a smaller conference, I think the UNLV conference, Mountain West. I like to watch Hawaii because they come on TV after everyone else is done playing, 9 pm Las Vegas time. (midnight on the east coast).

Every year they knock off some big school, usually from the Pac-10. This year they have knocked of 2 different pac-10 schools, Oregon State and Arizona. Hawaii has a big home field advantage, not because of fan base so much, as their games are only half filled, but because of the long flight, which is like 6 hours for west coast schools and 9-10 hours for schools from Texas or Midwest or east coast.

AS a person who flies some, not nearly as much as other AP's but still more than I would like, flying takes a lot out of you. You kind of lose a day before you get re-oriented and your body gets "right". I think these schools probably only fly out the day before to save money and the players just aren't right yet.
