Thread: The Adventures of MDawg (in progress)

What's interesting is that the first article from 2011, about the Bellagio robbery of the chips stated that all the stolen chips had been RFID deactivated. That the caper had been "foiled" due to RFID.
    https://singularityhub.com/2011/02/1...to-rfid-chips/

    But the article from 2016,
    https://www.rollingstone.com/culture...t-away-105349/
years after the robbery, outlines how the guy got away with cashing all but the $25,000. chips. That subsequent article does not mention RFID whatsoever and makes it seem more like Bellagio just became hyper vigilant and started looking out for chips post-robbery, which, obviously didn't work out too well for the casino in that the robber was able to cash a half million of the $1.5M that he stole. (BUT: he did gamble even these half million in chips all away, so the casino got it all back...one way or another.)

I suppose we could just assume that the 2011, article was based on misinformation or conjecture, or maybe put out there by the casino industry to deter would be chip thieves.

I am aware of some people who recently got busted for possession of thousands upon thousands of $5. counterfeit chips. In their case they weren't even discovered at the casino - they were pulled over for a DWI type check, and the chips found in the trunk. The cops didn't even know that the chips were counterfeit but suspected something in that fifteen THOUSAND dollars of $5. chips seemed suspect.
The lawyer in me wonders how much restitution the robber was ordered to pay to Bellagio?

Here, his attorney argued that he should not have to pay any because even the chips that were never recovered were "valueless."
    https://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/...coast-robbery/
An additional argument I might have made is that even the chips that were not recovered were gambled away at the casino such that the casino incurred no actual loss. But, perhaps at that time the full story wasn't yet known about how he had been able to play with a half million of chips so why bring up what wasn't yet known, and anyway, the judge might not have been so sympathetic to an argument of "he lost them playing anyway."

If you follow the story closely, all the $1.5M or so in chips that he stole were either never cashed in (never played), or cashed in (played) and lost at Bellagio. In fact, the robber claims that he played many of the chips at the exact same craps table from which he stole them!
I tell you it’s wonderful to be here, man. I don’t give a damn who wins or loses. It’s just wonderful to be here with you people.

Regarding the Bellagio heist: they immediately demonetized all $25k chips requiring players to present the chips and prove their play. That's what caused so much grief in the poker room. Bellagio did not have RFID at the time of the robbery though Aria did.

There are few casinos today that use RFID. It didn't catch on.

In any case, Yes I agree that the house edge changes slightly when tipping, but you're a number crunching million time in a row button pushing grinder. The edge matters to you it's all that matters you never expect to make more than whatever you think your edge is as you flat bet all the way. Last night I was talking on the phone with a friend, a fellow high roller, and we chuckled about how few understand how high rollers play: we could be playing a toin coss with NO house edge and it wouldn't affect more than minutely whether we walked at the end with a lot or nothing. Also, non-Baccarat players will never understand that a deck set in the shoe is different from say, a series of dice rolls or roulette spins. Trying to explain any of this truly is like trying to explain what chocolate tastes like to someone who has never seen it.

As far as my luck or whatever it is that has blessed me with a lifetime win at BJ and Baccarat, what can I say? I recall one Baccarat session years ago where the pit boss interrupted me with a "Don't you ever lose?" I paused, but just for a moment, and then went back to what I do best.
Yes, we all know that some professional guessers are better than other professional guessers. Dude, you don't make any real decisions in the game. Just how much to bet and whether to bet on player or banker. Tell us all about your secret strategy here. What? Do you get a feeling? Is it intuition? Why are you always right when you increase your bet?

You can go ahead and bash me/us. That's really what you have to do anyway. Its that insecurity thing, right? Sure, your threads are garnering action but so have those making fantastic claims in the past. People are reading you. Are they believing you won 40 sessions in a row? Are they on the sites posting about this or are they just watching a train wreck? Like Anna Nicole Smith. I don't see very many people defending you.

Continue on with your fiction writing.

Sadly, the only fiction here is that you ever made more than minimum wage gambling. From the descriptions of your past jobs, at least some of your past jobs made more per hour than you did pushing buttons though.

But given your background and education you've done fine I suppose. In my case, even when I'm gambling and winning big I still sometimes feel like what I am doing might be a waste of time for someone like me, but I do it because I enjoy it and manage to stay ahead, not for a living, and not countless hours a week week in week out like you.

I haven't gotten too involved in this thread or the MDawg topic in general. I have voiced my opinion, that what he is claiming is not supported by and frankly goes against the mathematics. Much the same as Rob Singer's claims and the claims of the blackjack guy at Norms site that lead to all my "trouble".

And Mickey, you say that MDawg is going to bash you/us. And he is. He will bash anyone that is challenging that his math doesn't work and that he has not yet explained how he can win, playing a losing game (-EV). MDawg is Singer all over again. If you have no answer for those challenging your alternative math, you deflect and attack the challenger. I mean friends or not friends, do you not see this Mickey. MDawg has completely adopted the Singer playbook.

My answer was to post all the pictures of the chips, paid markers, cash, checks cut to me by the casinos for wins, and finally, live videos of my win/loss screens that correspond exactly to the dollar win amounts claimed.

What has any of you alleged winners posted? Nothing.

that oughta present as much proof as anything else - if I were going to make stuff up I'd just claim to be winning millions and say that I will never work again.

I have won hundreds of thousands on trips in the past, but, not lately.

Ummm....even if half his crazy claims were true, he is not the biggest winner even here. Not even close. If THAT winner posted pics of his cash won WEEKLY without markers or hosts or silly comps or any of that stuff, Mdawg would let his tail wag him.

    Yes or no?

Actual winners playing with an advantage don't feel the need to have to post anything since they have no agenda, they're only agenda is to continually lock up actual profits. Many of us can post up way more cash and proof then you have thus far with multiple other people who can confirm dollar amounts played/won. Most of us aren't stupid enough to do that for many different reasons.

There's absolutely no doubt in my mind you have some type of agenda. Of course, that agenda might be something as simple as you just wanting lots of attention, or it could be something more nefarious, I have no clue.

Whatever the case, do your thing, but expect blowback. I'm not saying this to be mean and I'm not calling you a joke...BUT I hope you realize the truth of the matter, 95% of the people on the forums(that we both participate at) think you are a joke and not telling the truth or full story. Basically, something just isn't right.

Again don't take that as a personal insult I'm just telling you in case you don't quite realize that.

No, the reason the small fry don't post anything about claimed pennies earned, is because assuming you are even winning, you'd be laughed out of the MDawg thread once it comes to light that you're barely booking, after all is said and done with all the hours you spend researching, traveling and then covering food and lodging and travel costs on your own nickel, and then pushing buttons mindlessly for hours on end, about what some kid would make flipping burgers at McDonald's.

I mean I'm booking real money and I still sometimes think it's not worth my time.

Actually you'd have to pay me an incredible sum to stand in front of a damn machine pushing buttons for any length of time; how demeaning and boring. And then most of you say that you have to do it surreptitiously constantly being chased or being worried about being chased out of the casino, especially given that the end sum reward is minimum wage level earnings - does NOT sound edifying.

This one has me baffled, but that's a good thing. No, I did not think of that.

Will somebody cut to coach belly's chase and ask him if he thinks that the sum total of everybody playing like MDawg is net ahead or behind? Then ask him if MDawg wins the next 40 trips, would coach think the Dawg was fibbing?

That should put coach in the position of either acknowledging that MDawg has super powers or that coach doesn't really believe casinos are winning.

Now me, I'm not asking him.

if you're talkin about Mickey crimm, you'll have to ask him. I believe that he mentioned something about leaving a legacy for his grandchildren and or whatever.

I suppose everybody posts frequently has some type of an agenda or they wouldn't be here. It's just that some people's agendas are perpetuated by lies and fakeness, perhaps for future monetary gain.

That’s one of the reasons why they have it. They don’t count on lottery tickets, or the hopeful outcomes of pre-programmed machines after pressing a button millions of times over endless years.

Unllike baccarat there is some thinking that goes into machine play. You have to know more than how much to bet and whether to bet on player or banker after that. Then you get to sit there like a blithering idiot while the hand plays out. The hand that you have no decision making in. Baccarat is for mental midgets.
