Don't forget Hunter Thompson. The important distinction is these guys became rich and famous in Las Vegas.
Anthony Curtis is not gay. He dated plenty of women and had kids with a few.

That is not what I have heard from several different people. But whatever. I am not here to out anyone.
I don't know who Hunter Thompson is or was. Red does A LOT of Name dropping. Did he play pick up basketball with Hunter Thompson? (Joke). It is actually pretty funny that every topic that comes up Red knew someone, a sister of a friend's cousin, or someone he played pickup basketball with 50 years ago. And if it is something that requires investigation, Red and Rob both have family members in the FBI that can do so, despite that it would get them fired.
The bottom line is that if Dietz could hit at 55%, 56% let alone the cherry picked years he hangs onto for touting promotional purposes, he would have bet, won, bet, won and never looked back. That is the formula for every winning gambler/AP on every forum. There may be a period in the beginning that you have to skimp a bit to build BR to be able to move on, but everyone moves on to winning reasonable amounts. Of course everyone understands EV, standard deviation and Kelly Wagering also.
Now to tell the truth, I would be interested in what a tout type person/player made? All that touting with 800 numbers and all that racket was way before my time. Maybe he was a good tout and made a little money, who knows. But he didn't make much money as a sports bettor and that was his claim all these years.
KIM Lee, in looking at all the numbers from those publications, I think you hit it right on the head. the guy might have broke even or made a few sheckles if he had someone basically supporting him. And when you wrote that and hit it on the head, I don't even think you were aware that was exactly his case.
Actually, there is a way we can get to the bottom of this Kim Lee, without involving a phone-in interview.
You can accept Dietz's invitation to spend a few days at his GF's new house in the shadow of the speedway (bring ear plugs) and try to see what you can did up. :D He has boxes of cherry-picked contest results he wants to show you. You know....the kind of thing touts use to rope in new "suckers".
There is one other thing that has come up very recently that is now kind of telling. Dietz has been making posts about betting golf futures. When mickeycrimm points out that in not +EV kind of stuff, Dietz went to the "it's only lunch money" kind of reply. THAT is classic degen gambler and not true AP/winning player thinking.
I know, because I too did some -EV sports betting before I started doing this sports betting bonus chasing. NFL games and March madness basketball. And I too would say it is entertainment, and the real cost of a few $100 bets is the same as going to a movie.
Difference was, sports betting was not my primary, or even secondary supplemental gambling activity at the time. It really was entertainment. If sports betting is your big claim to winning gambling and you can't control yourself and are making -EV bets "Because it is just lunch money", it is pretty telling (damning) about your entire sports betting claims. But we are beating a long dead horse here.

Hey...I can swing by College Park on my way down to Bristol, pick the professor up and make it a road trip...we'll catch the Beltway to 66 then out to 81.
And...I mean literally pick the baby up and buckle him into a car seat for the ride down.
He looks to be about 5'2" and 130 lbs (no wonder he's such a tool)... shouldn't be a problem, I'll tuck him under one arm.
Funny thing that while I can't and don't see this Dawg person's posts because he is blocked, I find it interesting that he is still posting.
See about a week ago at WoV, Michael BlueJay, an odd character in his own right, was looking for an attorney to escrow a challenge type bet. Dawg immediately said he couldn't do it (despite that he hadn't been asked) because he was going to be traveling out of the country for a month.
So here we are a week later and here is the mighty troll Dawg, trolling as usual. I realize there is internet availability all over the world now, but who makes it a top priority to troll on a forum with 10 people while traveling out of the country, whether for business or pleasure. Seriously who does that? I guess the same kind of guy that claims to be an attorney and then spends every business day working hours trolling. ;)
It is just funny to think back how this doofus presented himself when he showed up. Sophisticated high-end attorney, high end gambler. And in the time since he has proven almost everyday he is just another internet troll. Actually a re-incarnated internet troll. These dudes just can't help expose themselves like that.
happy travels Dog.
It sure sounds funny.
If you stipulate that he knew you for quite some time, and invested money in your plays, then why shouldn't his recollections of your behavior be considered accurate?
Were you drunk 80% of the time he worked with you? Did you have him order his drinks for you, so that you could have two drinks at the same time? Always captain morgan?
Were your decision making skills affected by your drinking, no question? Were you drunk, then made poor decisions, which in the end costed team money?
About him investing money in your plays...why did you need investors?
