Here is the way I see the redietz situation. For most of my time on this forum, Dietz claimed to be a 40 year professional sports bettor. Gave no real specifics about what he did except to occasionally mention some contests. No one else was doing anything with sports betting, so the topic was rarely discussed except by redietz. And he was very general and didn't say anything that you would say, "well that just isn't right". Not being a sports bettor, he seemed credible to me.
But then some advantage players started venturing into sports betting. Not as a primary thing, but just doing some shit. And Redietz freaked out and changed dramatically. And there began to be more sports betting talk on the forum. And Dietz started saying some shit that just didn't make sense. The Ev comments. some other things. It was kind of eye opening.
And when some people began to challenge or question him, he just had no answers most of the time. usually some Martian Talk. Movie producer friend or some math guy he played pickup basketball with at lunch 50 years ago. All those kinds of deflections.
But Dietz couldn't and can't answer most questions. And if he can't answer questions on a forum, where he has time to look some shit up, how is he going to answer questions in a live interview, with a good interviewer (or call in questions) asking the right questions? he will look like a fool and he knows it so, there will NEVER be an interview with Munchkin nor Dan Druff. There just won't!!
We will get all the tap dancing....movie producer friend, needs to be in Vegas for a call-in interview, talk about his fascination with Mob figures, almost anything he can think of to deflect. But there will be no interview. The sooner everyone realizes this, the sooner everyone can go on with their lives.
Dietz has already been exposed on this forum, (as a sports "tout" rather than a real professional sports bettor)....he isn't going to subject himself to that a second time in a live interview. He just isn't!
As is the case with many of us I suspect that redietz is simply trolling.
Yeah, this makes perfect sense except for the fact that, oh hell, I cannot believe I am bothering to do this, since it's so obvious, but I'll do it just because MrV chimed in as usual while knowing nothing but having the need to yap his opinion. Let's walk through this, shall we:
1) I will do an interview anytime, any place, with anybody. Now this is about the tenth time I've written this, so if people choose to ignore this little fact, well, not much I can do about it. People need to learn to read. One would think a law degree would require third grade reading comprehension, but perhaps not.
2) Putting the onus on me to conduct an interview with myself seems pretty funny, on the face of it. But one must never overestimate the cumulative IQ of the VCT faithful.
3) If I was in something called "Tipsters or Gypsters?" in the early 1980's, which was published in Las Vegas and read by thousands of people, and which publicized the records of hundreds of "touts," one would think the fact I was a public handicapper, a "tout" so to speak, would be pretty obvious.
4) If you are in a publication listing the records of touts, I think it would be self-evident one is a "tout."
5) If I run a full-page ad in GamePlan Magazine in 1980, touting my handicapping record from my newspaper column the previous year, I think it's pretty evident I'm a public handicapper.
6) If I'm on national newsstands in something called Playbook for more than a decade, read by literally millions of people during those years, I don't think I'm hiding the fact that I am a public handicapper. Just a guess. I don't expect lawyers to necessarily grasp this, but my plumber and next-door neighbors do.
7) Obviously, the little spiel kewlJ wrote above is all bullshit, as most of his spiels are. He didn't take the time to think it through, at all. The idea that someone is hiding that they are public commercial handicappers while appearing on newsstands read by millions of people, on television (Satellite Cable Handicap), and in the most-read summary of commercial handicapper results during the 80's and 90's, is ridiculous.
8) Now while kewlJ throws the word "tout" around as if it's pejorative, let me explain why nobody at Playbook, or McCusker himself, or any of my clients or friends refer to me as a "tout." In the business, a "tout" would mainly be considered a commercial handicapper who loses significantly and/or uses many of the scamdicapper (McCusker's word) tactics like giving multiple clients different games, lying about results, running different services under different names, and so on. "Tout" would be the rough equivalent of "shyster" in lawyering terms. In fact, "shyster" is almost the exact equivalent. It's a pejorative with a purpose. "Tout" and "shyster" have a real equivalency.
9) If I've been interviewed and spelled all this out each and every time, and I've appeared on national newsstands and been read by millions of people in total, then obviously the issue is with kewlJ and his anonymous shyster sidekick. I assume people know what "Tipsters or Gypsters?" was about and what the Wise Guys Contest was about (since it was on those same newsstands). Other people's lack of knowledge on this subject is not really my responsibility.
10) In summary, I'm fine being interviewed anytime by anyone. MrV, I may be able to arrange an interview with YOU on August 5-9 in LV, or on the phone another time. Same goes for the bullshit artist, kewlJ. You want an interview? Be my guest. Obviously, if I'm on board with being interviewed by Munchkin, something called PFA, or the inimitable Axelwolf, or Singer, or MrV or the bullshit artist known as kewlJ, I'm pretty much up for anything.
I'm very pleased 10 bullet points covered this nonsense. Just for the fanboys, I will attempt to find hard copies of some of my first interviews, which I will paste and post, assuming I figure out how. Since I'm cleaning the garage, I should be able to locate some of this stuff.
P.S. Heading to Hard Rock Casino today for the afternoon. Will have lunch and blow a C-Note on Planet Moolah for the hell of it. Anyone wanting to interview me can email me at IntegritySports@aol.com or give me a call, 714-244-6853. Thanks, and have a nice day.
P.S.S. It occurred to me, the two people knowledgeable enough to conduct a really harsh, insightful interview with any "tout" would be Boz and mickey, although mickey lacks certain informational fundamentals, he has the proper orientation and experience. They would be great as adversarial interviewers. A helluva tag team. Something to consider.
Chill out, He Who Dances With Mobsters.
When I said that I suspect you're trolling I was not implying that you know nothing of sports betting: obviously you do, and I believe you've been doing it for decades.
Rather than accusing you of lying I simply believe that you are stringing things out and being unnecessarily disputatious, especially as regards AP.
You seem to enjoy it which is fine, but it never seems to end: i.e. trolling.
Carry on, it's the Game We Play.
Well, now we are getting somewhere. Dietz, finally admitting he was one of those touts from the 80's and 90 and not the world's greatest sports bettor.
And there is a difference. A sports bettor makes his money betting sports. If his picks don't win, he loses money. A tout is selling picks. He makes money whether his picks win or not. The tout may have trouble getting "new clients" aka suckers, if his picks don't win. And that is where these contests and rankings come into play. The "tout" can just cherry-pick the ones he did well in as a selling tool and ignore the others. You know.....put together a "package" of cherry-picked data like he did for Alan.
Anyway, congrats on a successful career as a tout Dietz. Now you can go on and do an interview discussing your career as a tout with less fear of being exposed. I for one, would still be interested in what kind of money a tout made year over year? Enough to pay his taxes hopefully.

Honest question, why would Red even be a suitable interviewee for PFA Radio? As I understand from listening to several episodes and the title of the podcast itself, the show is about the poker world, frauds, current events related to casino news, etc. None of this seems germane to Red talking about his old touting days.
I'd like to hear if he has any stories about the Vegas mob and how they ran sin city back in the day; he posts about rubbing elbows with bent-noses so hey, maybe he can tell us where all those bodies were buried?
Why isn't this retard out pretending to be a high roller?
Please quote those "roadblocks after roadblocks." Yes, I require a living, breathing person do the interview. LOL. Sue me.
But you know what? I'll even allow the resident Dracula, who comes back from the dead and from sundry beatings, to do an interview. That would be a hoot. So I won't even require the interviewer be alive. I'm loosening up in my old age.
And again, the tip-off to the kewlJ commentary is that he paraphrases and summarizes things that are blatantly false. Unlike MDawg, who uses actual direct quotes.
I am not going to search for quotes, but a couple of the road blocks are that you have put stipulations on that you need to be in Las Vegas for a call-in interview, and at other times said you need the great filmmaker Dennison to be available. That type of thing. Everyone has read it and knows what you are doing.
Who talks about an interview like this for months and months like this. If you really wanted this to happen it would have happened by now. And if the problem is on Dan Druff's end, you would have pestered him until you both agreed on a date.
The fact is that you are dragging your feet because you know this interview with be a disaster, with many questions you can't answer. And Dan Druff for his part, is allowing you to drag your feet.
Yeah, the quotes that will never come. I never said "I need to be in Las Vegas" for any interview. That's a lie.
I never said I "need Dennison to be available." That's another lie.
"If I really wanted this to happen, it would have happened by now." LOL. First, I can't interview myself. Well, I can, and maybe it would be pretty cool, but that is usually not how interviews work. Although I am willing to try. Second, I refuse to promise to blow Dan to make the interview happen. Now I have heard that is an option (or even a preference) for some alleged blackjack players, but that is not something with which I wish to bargain.
In summary, the kewlJ lied and whiffed. As usual. Paraphrases and declarations. That's all he's got in his quiver. No quotes. No evidence of anything. Just the usual blah, blah, blah.
The dude's default is to make shit up. That's why he's banned on almost every forum. And MDawg, please quote me on that.
I love this narrative that all the trolls and haters use that KJ is banned at almost every forum. :D
I am banned at 2 forums and basically over the same incident.
I can participate here (for what that is worth). I can participate at GF, despite that phony photo-shopped heading that Mdawg likes to post.
I can and do participate at BJinfo, although the forum is pretty inactive these days.
I can participate at BJ21, just have chosen not to after the sale to the same group that owns WoV.
I can and do participate on a private BJ forum, not open to the public, although I don't really care for that concept except for private messages. I like newer players to be able to benefit from what I share.
So YOU are the liar Bob Dietz. Ever since you joined forced with and became a troll, you repeat the troll lies. I know you are hurt, your feelings hurt when you were exposed as NOT the great sports bettor you claim, but is this really what you want to be known as...an internet troll, the likes of Singer, Dawg and Belly?
In other words "pick your battles wisely."
Ask yourself: "Do I really want to die on this hill?"
There are to many hoops to jump thru to get redietz on PFA radio. As is, it has to be coordinated between druff, axel and redietz to get a specific date and time. Thats probably not going to happen. Druff does the show randomly.
So i think a different approach is needed. A list of questions should be put together. Questions submitted by VCT members. The list should be delivered to Druff and redietz. Redietz should be given the phone number to the show.
Druff’s radio shows go on for hours, like sometimes 9 or ten hours. He gives short notice on PFA when he’s going to do a show. Once Druff is on the air then redietz can call in.
redietz sports betting wouldn't be that interesting at all. Other than the occasional promo or good find, how interesting is sports betting?
Exactly! AND Bob Dietz or redietz would be of no interest to Dan Druff's main audience at PFA. It is only interesting to the 12 of us here.
Although he did have tasha on. Does he track listenership numbers or anything? I can't imagine the tasha show drew much interest. Although people do like to watch a train wreck.
Ok. Noted. I have listened to exactly part of 1 show...the show Tasha was on.
So that said that it isn't just poker talk (which Druff clarified today), do you accountinQ think members of PFA would have much interest in Bob Dietz and his sports betting/tout career of 40 years? Just seems to me that it is only of interest to the 12 of us here. :D
I am aware there are some sports bettors at PFA. Maybe they would have interest and be saying something like "Who is this guy that doesn't seem to have a clue about what he is talking about?" :D
Red, this constant deflection and collection of cute words isn't cutting it--and it doesn't make sense.
Whenever wizard wanted to do interviews with me I accepted whatever formats he wanted, I had zero caveats, and we got them done.
You OTOH keep saying you will do an interview with anybody anytime anywhere (including over-the-phone) yet nothing ever happens. I attribute unclear/poor communication from Dan to this forum as a major issue on WHY THE FUCK he hasn't scheduled an interview with you yet. And why are you afraid to be interviewed by Munchkin? These are the easiest formats on earth to accommodate interviews because you can do them remotely. Inserting some stupid tiny window of availability in LV is nonsense.
Stop being feckless.
Sounds like you want to interview me. Great! Anytime is fine with me. Looking forward to it.
I already said I'd do a Munchkin interview anytime, any place. Now the fact he currently has no show might be an issue for some people, but not for me. LOL. I love interviews. I love adversarial interviews. I love interviews so much if you or kewlJ don't step up to the plate, I may have to interview myself.
I'm pretty sure I can lock up another offer with a much larger audience than PFA, but I believe in sequential submissions. Tell you what -- if there's no movement here in the next couple of weeks, I'll set up my own interview for YouTube. Not sure what it'll cost, but it'd be fun.
Now I am moving in the next few weeks, barring a catastrophic flood or something (had one of those last winter), so not every, single day is free, but I'll work my ass off to make it happen. We can always broadcast from the Hard Rock in Bristol if we need some color. This packing of the library has proven to be a pain. I trimmed the library from what I thought was 5000 pounds down to 2500 a couple of years ago, but I undercounted the whole thing. We donated another thousand pounds of books the last two months, and it's still close to 2000 pounds not counting the comic books. Packing and moving this stuff is brutal. I also discovered I have 60 polo shirts -- this is really not a good thing. I need to emulate your wardrobe.
You can sub in and interview me any time. I love you that much.
I'm sure you would be the Dick Cavett of forum interviewing.
So here is the current situation:
Skype closed and I haven't yet replaced it. So I can't take calls at the moment, or connect anyone else to the show, unless I use something like Zoom.
We actually could do a Zoom show, if you really wanted to show some stuff on video.
I am usually against doing video shows, but I did one on election night, and it went fairly well, so I guess I can do it again.
My original intent was to get redietz on GWAE because so many other professional sports bettors had been on the podcast. I wanted redietz take on measuring EV in sports betting to be exposed to them so perhaps a debate amongst professionals would commence. I would like to see this issue take center stage among pro sports bettor discussions for awhile to show us amateurs how they think about it and if they have any measuring techniques. Walters system in his book clearly shows his way of measuring EV. So what do these other pro bettors think?
I don't think a PFA podcast will bring the issue to light with top sports bettors. I think I will have to take a different route to try to bring this issue up among the elites. And that may or may not include redietz.
As it stands I'm just not that enthralled with a redietz appearance on PFA radio.
You know what readers got out of that rap? That you're nervous an interview is starting to get real, which is why you fall right back into your usual diversion of using a weird array of corny phrases and meaningless dry humor as cover for why you're so afraid of being interviewed, ever.
I'd interview you if I could, but I know nothing about Skype, zoom, or any of that stuff, we're on the road in our new car this spring, and we're up in the Carson Valley/Tahoe area all summer thru mid-Oct. Plus who goes to LV in the summer anyway?
Just man-up and do an interview, and stop choking with the excuses and nonsense. If you WANT an interview to happen, it will.
Rob, I am mightily disappointed. Surely you could find time to debunk me. I mean, c'mon, I'm afraid of being interviewed. The evidence is all there. So just man up and do it, baby. Do everyone a service.
I know nothing about Skype, Zoom, and all that either, although my superior half's daughter taught college courses via Zoom. Somebody could hold my hand through it, I guess.
And if all else fails, I'm in LV August 5-9 and could do it then, or I could return another time just to do the interview. I love LV in the summer, after all. Usual routine, three nights at the Nugget, then a fourth night on the fly. Be there or be square.
In all seriousness, it probably makes the most sense to interview a football handicapper in August before the season starts. Then you're clear of the WSOP and in the middle of Circa celebrating its latest class of Sports Betting Hall of Famers. So there is some logical rationale for interviewing in August. But, as I have said repeatedly, I am up for any time/any place.
Since I'm going through all my old stuff, I will try to post a couple of related things. I did an interview prior to the 1980 Super Bowl after I had a killer ATS year with my column in the Citizen-Standard. The interview was with another paper since the Citizen-Standard was a weekly. Then there's the bio in 1984's Who's Who in Sports Gambling, written by Rick Hall, who became born again and went on a quest to clean up the tout business. Neither interview aged particularly well, but anything that comes out of your mouth when you're in your 20's has a habit of not aging well. I will endeavor to post them if I get some time this week.
I'm stock up on Guinness and cashew awaiting the r-e-dietz up coming appearance on the Dan Druff radio-show, hey hey.
If Redietz knew how to entertain and tried then he could be a pretty good guest.
His problem is he gets all tied up in being defensive and trying to prove something by insulting the better bettors. Dude has plenty of life experience. I think it would maybe need some preparation so he would have it planned out and maybe thats not what an interview is? But this is a podcast - not so much an interview.
But this won't happen ... He'll just be annoying because he can't help himself.
Hey Rob, did you get rid of your Mopar?
I don't want to keep picking on Dietz. Oh wait, sure I do. What fun! :D
Red, NOTHING screams success like a 4 day trip to Las Vegas during weekdays (cheaper), during July or August (cheaper). You are one big winner type dude Red. Anyone with any money, and even those of us that only have a bit of money are looking to get out of Vegas for a week or two during that time. But you have a good time Red. :)
So here is what I did want to talk about. Dietz has now twice mentioned he is moving in a few weeks to a brand new home being built 'in the shadow of the speedway" which doesn't seem like a great place to live with all the traffic and noise on race days. But whatever.
Since Red brought this up, TWICE, he must want us to discuss it. So here goes.
Who is this "we" you mentioned are moving? You talking the GF that is the better sports bettor than you? AcctinQ wants to know what you are doing about your dad in the backyard?
Ok, so I ask this sincerely because I don't know. Can a 70 year old get a mortgage? I would think a typical 30 year mortgage would not be offered like a 40 year old can get. But I don't really know.
OR are you paying cash for this brand new home in the shadow of the speedway. Shades of Rob Singer claiming suitcases of cash to buy his kids homes, when records show they actually have mortgages.
And if you are paying cash or need significant downpayment due to advanced age (again, I have no idea), who exactly is putting up the money? The more successful sports betting GF? You pulled that once with the wife, so what worked once, can work again right?
Maybe these are questions that should be reserved for an interview that will never happen.
Anyway, I sincerely wish you and the GF (who is a more successful sports bettor than you) or whoever the other part of "We" is, good luck in your new home. May you both enjoy it for many years. Slainte to you both.
Actually while Redietz may not be of large interest to Druff’s main PFA audience, you have to remember he is local to Johnson City Tennessee which is part of the Johnson City Metropolitan area.
This includes not only Johnson City, but the entire East Tennessee counties of Carter, Unicoi, & Washington.
So while there may not be huge interest from the normal PFA audience, it could potential draw a large new audience from the Johnson City Metropolitan Area, which is currently underrepresented in Druff’s listenership.
I got a new (to me) John Deere Tractor Mower. I only paid $200, and it only needed the battery cables cleaned, battery charged, and the hood cover fixed. Now it runs great, a brand new one goes for over 3k. The guy I bought it from even delivered it to me on his flatbed.
I totally understand what Rob is saying. I almost bought a Murray, but it was overly loud and a rough ride over rocks, and I didn't like the cutting pattern it left in the grass. I opted for the less loud, smoother ride rig where the cutting pattern is superb.
We are much happier with a true American luxury, John Deere.
If you want pics, and proof of purchase, you'll have to beg for them. Or at least wait until I can get to a John Deere dealership.
oh geez, you did it Keystone. In another thread, I just commented how I see none of his posts. Absolutely none, because he is blocked and no one even bothers to respond and quote him. And then you quote him and I see this post. And what a beauty it is. Such a strong posts. :D Even as a troll, he has grown weaker over time.
Why isn't this retard out pretending to be a high roller?
