He probably had a return that didn't get credited as soon as he expected. That's very common. If I knew that I had a credit coming I would probably pay less the expected credit.

Yes that's more or less what happened, I did return the item but it didn't post in time. I was late in returning it, so the credit posted the next month, and I ended up, between what I paid and the credit that eventually posted, overpaid.

But I should have dealt with the return quicker.

I have not encountered a real AP that walks around or posts online flashing money or resources. That is just not what we do or who we are. Usually our efforts go to NOT flashing anything.

What the fuck real AP talks in a way to group themselves with other APs? Like there is some huge commonality outside of making cash via gambling. There is no membership club for you to be part of regardless of how bad you try and make yourself out to be a member of this fictitious club.

I live an upperclass lifestyle on a budget. I was born from blue collar uneducated folks. I have no need for things. My car is the nicest thing I've ever had and i figured out how to rubberband a phone on the top of the steering wheel last night. I can now watch movies as I drive at night with little concern for my safety. That's huge.

Outside of that I now own a condo. I also have a compound that I inherited. I'm going to dig a deeper well there and probably another house. Outside of that I only need money for medical reasons or to repair something. Life is good to me.

I'm tall and fairly handsome. A bit skinny but I'll take the tall aspect every day. I get plenty of positive attention.

I've actually become a lot more empathetic as I've gotten older. When I was younger I was just a subsistence gambler who was a very hard drinker. (Never woke up and drank though .. so was never physically addicted) Now that I do well I go out of my way to treat people as best as I reasonably can. Previously i was like fuck the world half the time. Now I tip pretty well and try my best to be kind. I've become more mindful and thoughtful in general. The world is just going to be more and more shit as I grow old due to various factors. I'd rather surround myself with good vibes and kindness. Yes, I can and still will be a mother fucker at times. I don't really put up with much bullshit nor can I be cowed into much of anything. If I think someone is a hard man I am limited in what I'll do because I'd get my ass kicked. I would be willing to shoot someone ASAP if needed and legally justified. (yep, know your state laws)

I'm basically a conservative hippy hillbilly with a very high IQ. Call it bragging or whatever but this is me.

Also waiting for a mattress delivery.. so don't got much to do. Cali King ftw but they have to be shipped in from some ways off and not the local store. Freight won't pinpoint the time they show up. So today is one of those days I'm sitting on this forum with nothing better to do.

My (and mickey's) credit rating puts us maybe in the top third of Americans. Good, but not great. My reporting on the subject is a study in reality, not the usual "AP" nonsense. On many previous occasions, I've stated that my net worth is almost exactly the average net worth of the basic white American 65-year-old male. It's right on the button. I'm actually proud of that since the variable correlating most with a person's income is his parents' income.

I think all of the "APs" should post their scores like mickey. Cuts to the heart of what they claim.

P.S. Sat down with a banker today for about two hours, so that ties right in with this topic.

I can't imagine why you or any reasonable person would think this Red? Why would you think anybody, I don't care who you are or what you claim, should prove things like they are on trial. I essentially pay cash for everything. My cards just make things easy to order, take advantage of hotel loyalty programs, don't have to go inside to buy gas, etc. But my cards are paid off from my bank account every month. I don't pay interest.

I just seen where credit card debt is at a record high. Dave Ramsey says everyone should destroy their credit cards and use cash or prepaid debit cards. He says credit ratings are for suckers, they just suck people into more debt.

BTW, you haven't put any proof of your credit score up. Did you forget?

Let it be known I've never worn any sort of man purse. I do tend to like cargo pants but have been upscaling it. Any sort of man purse is 50/50 AP. Id rather fit in as much as possible. Im alrrady unique looking enough. The fanny pack is for moving money around and storing it. Not too big or small. I spent some money on the nicest fanny pack I could then just keep it in my car. I might wear it at some point but... just not a good look. The rear pouch has a couple'a gold coins.

Most importantly though the man purse suggests a lot of cash on you. Fanny pack not so much I guess. Just not good.

I don't think he has to step down as President. But he will need to end his re-election bid/plans. From everything I have read, Ronald Reagon was probably in equally bad shape mentally in his final year of the presidency. But he wasn't running and out there speaking everyday, so they were able to hide some of that from the public.

Biden is mixing up conversations he had, of late saying he had them with people that have been dead for years. Tonight he mixed up Egypt and Mexico. And in speaking about his son's death, he stopped mid sentence, forgetting where he was going and never finished the thought. Then he snapped at several reporters.

It is just very apparent he is not mentally fit to run again. I don't know what or how the democrats move on from that. Similarly to 1968 when Johnson quit the re-election just after the primaries started, it is too late for someone like Gavin Newsome to join the race and get on enough ballots. And then there is the issue that Kamala Harris will think she is next up and she just can't be. It is a disaster for Democrats.

And I don't think that necessarily means this was a good day fro Trump. He has his own very different set of problems.

I have to check the sportsbooks. If there is a wager available that November election will not be Trump vs Biden, I want a piece of that.

If you actually use credit, have a mortgage, or other term loans that helps your score. I only buy a minimal amount of stuff with a card. Airfare and such stuff that there's no other way to pay. With the exception of getting a new card for sign up bonuses which then causes reduced age of accounts along with cancellations for non use or closing down ones with annual fees.

When I was able to actually login and look it said 832 and I realized it was a 850 point vs 900 point scale. 850/900 is actually worse than 832/850.

I said it was in the 850s which since isn't even possible wasn't a very good lie. That is what I remembered it being but when I was home and revisited this thread I logged in and gave the specific number.

The 900 scale is a rarely used alternative scale that incorporates auto loans and some bank loans. If you don't have an auto loan, you can't get bonus points, so the 900 scale is pretty much inappropriate. They tried to give people bonus points if they had current auto loans is what it amounted to. I have no idea if anyone actually uses the 900 scale these days. Maybe auto dealers.

To figure out what account's number likely is, just deduct the 50 points he garnered from having a specific auto or special kind of bank loan. If he thought he had 850-something, then he's somewhere between 800 and 810, which puts him a hair above mine and mickey's range, which is good, but not spectacular. I'm hoping for an 810 or thereabouts but may not get there.

Auto loans are a particular flag that companies like to see because they suggest you are willing to shell out long term money for depreciating items, and you are willing to pay for the opportunity to do so.

Some trivia: About 1 1/2 percent of Americans have perfect (850) credit scores.

Almost all credit scales run the 850 cap these days. Banks do when they are figuring real estate backed loans. Personally, I have never bought an automobile on credit, so I am never going to get a bonus 50 points so I can -- chuckle -- have a credit score "in the 850's."

I also don't signup for new cards. I have on card for well over 10 years but it has a low rate.

I also declared bankruptcy at one point. A loan I had all at once had the terms changed on it. I could declare BR so I did. I then was part of a class action that won against the bank that did that. So ultimately I feel fairly justified in stiffing the banks. I'd rather have a BR than be some capitalists' bitch.

I don't even care about my credit score. I didn't even know what it was when I first posted. On occasion I login to that website because I get "warnings". I then see the FICO score but paid no mind to it. (Why would I ?)

The SAT scale is either 1600 or 2400 and even then there are different systems within the scale. I said I had a 31xx because it was never possible. The same way as saying I had a 850s on a 850 scale. It was a joke. fuck. Any American kid who was a college bound type will have some clue about SAT scores. I will try to not be so obscure for Garnabby and Kewl next time.

but yea you are right. SAT might not even be a thing currently and many people had various ways to getting into college. Just for my age and many years around mine, the SAT was a very large component of where you could go to school so I assume people remember the scale of it.

But I did well enough to have been accepted at a private catholic university on Philadelphia's exclusive mainline. I only attended for one year. I didn't flunk out, just didn't care for college, had no idea what I wanted to do at that point. Sol I moved to the city (Phila) started working. I then found blackjack and went in a different direction. I always thought I would get back to it, even after moving to Vegas, but except for taking a few courses one year, I haven't. No regrets though.

But congrats to you Mdawg on that online college education. While I don't think you are the lawyer that you claim, I am sure it has come in handy.

All you have to do is look at UNKewlJ's writing, poor math skills and constant math errors, his constant inability to keep track of what he said from day to day (poor memory), inability to make a decision and stick by it, and you may guess how well he has done in life, let alone school. But anyone that has read me over the years knows I have a strong alliance to a certain Phila area university. THAT is what lead me to the Philadelphia area. That I was attending college there. :rolleyes:
