I've never been a government employee. Can you say the same?
For private businesses, which employee benefits do the employers profit from?

I was a government employee when I was in the military. I owned a company that at its peak employed 23 people. I didn't profit from any benefits paid to employees. Those expenses were calculated as labor burden and the employees pay package was determined with that factored in. An employee needed to produce more than they cost in order for me to stay in business. So their production was raked appropriately.
I'm a weirdo handjob now.
I still think that is better than retard.
If you don't know the difference between pausing and quitting then not sure what to tell you. One word implies intent to start back up and the other doesn't.
We'll see if you can figure out which is which.
What the fuck are you talking about?
"Why does an AP have to retire" = why must an AP retire.
There are reasons why an AP must retire...whether you are aware of them or not, they do exist.
The reasons why an AP must retire are a subset of the reasons of why he would retire.
If you cannot conceive of why an AP must retire, then you have not considered the reasons why he would retire.
You follow, pinhead?
'why must' is not the same as 'why would'. This is like 'quitting' vs 'pausing'. They're not the same either.
You're a real weirdo. Your peculiarities must be puzzling to those who have had the misfortune of knowing you personally.
Babbling retard, I'm not going to respond further.
The AP-haters are going strong tonight. Every once in a while this occurs. They can't help show their bitterness.

Your problem, Alan, is, instead of just addressing self-employed AP's about retirement, you need to address restaurant owners, drywall contractors, flower shop owners, insurance salespeople, pet store owners, etc., etc., etc. That is, everyone, absolutely everyone that owns a business.
What do you have to say about that 30 year drywall contractor who never had an employer pay into a 401K for him, or pay healthcare premiums for him?
Now, who did you say paid for your 401K? Who did you say paid your healthcare premiums? Do you say your employers paid for it? Yes, I think you did. I've got news for you, Alan. They didn't pay a dime for you. YOU PAID THE WHOLE THING!!
It was part of your wage benefit package. There are two ways for you to get money into your 401K. You can either pay cash or pay for it with your labor. YOU CHOSE TO PAY FOR IT WITH YOUR LABOR.
If you hadn't put in the labor how much would your employer have paid? Same for your healthcare premiums. You paid for it, Alan. No one else.
Since you think this is stupid crap then how stupid is it to think that someone else paid for your 401K and healthcare premiums? Only stupid people think someone else did.
Coach, your whole schtick is to wait for people to say specific things and then shoot down one or two of a hundred statements. I'm just asking you to make some specific statements. Do a little research. Find some specific "bullshitting" examples. Then we can have some fun. Man, you don't like it when the Socratic shoe is on the other foot.
Hey... if you guys all have great retirement and health plans set up then that's terrific! Congratulations.
