Mickeys play is the most believable scenario to me. Makes perfect sense but is a lot of work. I don't know if I could do it and I like casinos!

Take off that stupid mask you big baby.
Then maybe he's exaggerating but I don't think so.
Are you saying all the people fatten up the machines around that huge state with bad weather and roads for him, and he just happens to pop in and drain them dry? Is that what you're believing?
Sounds like he'd be a good candidate to take some of his own medicine here. Proof. Even some pictures of winners instead of those continuous promotional CofC snapshots.
Mick-I enjoy playing UX when I am in the mood for some VP. I am not a vulture per se but when I do sit down, I do scout out the games to see if there are any "hangers".
But most of the casinos here either time out the bonus or turn it off shortly after the card is removed. They don't let the bonus hang for long.
Sure. "Vultures" was a term Dan Paymar used to describe some a type of machine pro back in the nineties. It basically means exploiting a short term positive situation that was created by unknowing or uncaring players. I put up a screenshot in the road pic thread of a UX play and called it huge as a joke that I figured the other AP's might get a laugh about. It's because it's the smallest UX play you can find, nickel denom with one 2X multiplier.
So in the screenshot you can see it says "next hand 2X" next to the top hand. That means the prior player hit a high pair on the top line then either cashed out or changed games leaving that multiplier there. On that machine there were three denoms, and triple play, five play and ten play to look through for multipliers left by prior players. I always start at the lowest denom and work up.
You can see I set it on a 5 coin bet per line before I took the shot. The game was 7/5 Double Double Bonus, a real bad game, 95.7%. But with that multiplier up there the payback is much better, at least for one hand. The two lower hands are at 95.7% and the top hand is at 191.4%. Add the three hands together then divide by three and it's a 127.6% play. That is, for one hand. You just play that hand off then keep looking for multipliers on up the scale.
So that's what vulturing is, looking for short term positive situations left by the ploppies.

"More importantly, mickey thought 8-4 was two games over .500. Argued about it. C'mon, man. Nothing can top that for math expertise. If GWAE ever has you on again, you can be sure I'll be calling in with that gem.'Nuff said." REDIETZ
That one play has an EV of about 20 cents. I've seen some people fight over them!
Two things about this, which is exactly what I'm talking about.
Crimm boldly claims these ploppies fill the machines up for him and he just happens to come upon them. But all we see are dead pictures, never knowing how much he puts into them himself, or if he even hits them.
regnis touched on a good point that I've understood for at least the last ten years. Most if not all casinos these days kill the juice on these type machines before some pop in tries to do what crimm claims to do. Everybody's a dummy but him, the aps ap.

WOP, have you ever been in a casino and seen what other players do and/or how awful they play? Most people have no idea about the math or how games work.
I've seen full 6:5 BJ tables next to empty 3:2 BJ tables (same limits, rules, decks, shuffling, etc.). I've seen people in UTH not shove on AK because "they don't even have a pair yet" or not shove on JJ because "you wouldn't go all in with JJ in regular NLH". Seen people in MS (miss. Stud) 2x bet with 66+, even though they had plenty of money. Seen people in VP hold shit like 6,6,K....or AQJT over QJT9 rainbow. Seen people on UX get dealt a flush, then a dealt full house, then cash out and leave. I've seen a guy hold 2,2 over 2,2,5,5,5 in BP. A while back I used to walk the strip every now and then when I wasn't busy and vultured UX....even though there were plenty of others doing it, I still found plenty of them and made some decent money. I've seen people playing VP at $5 for one coin rather than $1 for five coins (same paytable on both denoms.....except the RF for 250-for-1 instead of 800-for-1 on the short coin game).
Don't underestimate people's stupidity. Are you aware people make money playing NLH in cash games? Some people have figured out the odds and how to play properly....and others don't even think it's possible to win in a casino.
I don't see anything far-fetched in what Mickey claims. He's put up the math, logic, and pictures. Even though I haven't been to Montana (for gambling), I know in my experience people oftentimes leave behind a machine with an advantage. From what I've seen, it all adds up. I kinda doubt Mickey would go through the trouble of posting the math behind the games, the logic, and pictures, but not play them.
What more do you want for proof? For Mickey to mount a go-pro and live stream his trips? Lol
I don't ever look at what other people do when they play vp. It's too boring, unless there's a reason. But I don't doubt anything you said about the variety of players methods and holds.
You called what mickey says he does along with his CofC type pictures of casinos and a machine or two proof. How is any of that proof of his winning and not losing? So he explains why he plays a certain game and is lucky enough to just come upon the ripe ones.
He doesn't seem at all like the sharpest tool in the shed. He posts reasoning of plays that he tries to make others believe no one else in his state knows anything about. He has a short temper on forums that he admitted at wizzards was a result of heavy drinking. Sense says all his show is just that and nothing more, a show. Drinkers make POOR gamblers, that much should be agreed upon. I think he uses forums for a life, and inserts virtual gaming as part of it.
Wait a second????? I think the photo on this machine shows that this machine was not abandoned. There are still credits on the machine, and I think that this means that the machine is still in play and it was not cashed out by the previous player. Had the machine and the multiplier been abandoned the credit meter would read zero, wouldn't it????
I don't know how often Mickey finds the plays he says he finds. I have no reason to believe he's exaggerating. Perhaps he is, but I don't think so. If he's playing as many plays as he claims to find, then it would be extremely unlikely for him to be a net loser. Getting a lot of action through on a really strong play -- losing (overall) just doesn't happen. Like my example above with 1.5:1 payouts on a coin flip....you're not going to lose.
Like I said it's hard work.
Take off that stupid mask you big baby.
If he had sat down after a player left the machine, the previous cards would be displayed.
Either he was already playing it, or someone else was playing it.
Unless there are video poker machines that start with blank cards on the screen?????
I have never seen a video poker game, including UX, where the cards return to blanks after a player has left the game.
And if the player did leave the game -- unless they left their money behind -- the credit meter would be zero.
