The only question is to what degree did Singer expect this ploy to be believed? I mean we're sort of the point where sure he gets people talking about him but that is IT. No one is even debating whether this is true. Some will say Singer is winning because we talk about this situation. Sure. But what did he actually think would happen? How deep are the delusions vs sitting back loling at getting a response. One has to think it is mostly the latter but I wouldn't bet much on it. He might legitimately be this deluded.
