Of course, we always hid their slide rules

Just in case some of our younger readers don't know what a slide rule is, I posted a photo of my slide rule from elementary school below. It is the AcuMath slide rule, which I am guessing my Uncle Eddie (an engineer for the City of New York) got me as a gift when I was in the fourth grade which was probably around 1960-61. Uncle Eddie also taught me to play chess and introduced me to Dannon Coffee Yogurt which I still eat to this day.
