Probably, another cognitive bias, not already on the list, is the overriding tendency to believe only what we can understand (or personally experience) as much as outright disbelieve what we can't understand (or experience). By the word, believe, I mean to let it at this.

Nobody had much of a problem with Red, or KJ, until they delved into foreign sounding explanations, and experiences. But, the idea has always been to be conclusively test whatever notion, claim, and, then, go from there. Because, as smart as people want to make themselves out to be, the preferred standard of analysis has always been to physically or otherwise test things. Accepted theories of physics can't become facts because they remain open to further testing. Always another test, down the road, that wasn't available, before.
As for the deal, well,
there is no question of what KJ is to put up, given that MDawg will match the amount that he received. Further involvement by KJ would mean that MDawg would have to more than match the amount for him to truly match it as is.
I think that the "ball" has always been in MDawg's corner.
